"Movin' Up" is the debut single from Swedish Eurodance band Dreamworld. It was released in 1995 in Europe and Australia, peaking at number 12 on the ARIA Singles Chart. It charted on the ''Billboard'' Dance/Club Play chart for seven weeks, peaking at number 30 in March 1996. It is the best known single from the band and their only international hit. It was re-released in 1997 shortly before the band split up. In 1996, the song was adapted in Spanish by Mexican singer Paulina Rubio as "Despiértate" and included on her fourth studio album, '' Planeta Paulina''. Dreamworld (band)
Dreamworld was a Swedish Eurodance group consisting of Bella Morel, Fredrik Lenander and Lars Erlandsson. The band were based in Malmö. The voice of Dreamworld was the female vocalist Bella Morel. She also took part to the lyrics writing. All their CDs were released under the label RAIRAir Chrysalis. Biography Dreamworld is best known for their 1995 released club single " Movin' Up" which was their first single. It was rather successful, and a UK Remixes CD followed. Movin' Up was a popular club hit in Europe and it reached #12 on the Australian ARIA Chart later in its release year. It is featured on many compilations and the single sold gold in Australia. The song also gained success among dance clubs in North America peaking at #30 on the US Dance chart in March 1996. David Kreuger
David Kreuger is a Swedish songwriter and music producer. Career David Kreuger began at Cheiron Studios in the spring of 1993. During the period 1993-1997, he worked with Per Magnusson on several projects. Together, they produced and wrote songs for Swedish artists such as E-Type and Leila K, but also for international groups such as Solid Harmonie and Lyte Funkie Ones. Kreuger, Magnusson, and Jörgen Elofsson worked with Boyzone on their album '' Where We Belong'' in 1997, and Britney Spears's debut studio album in 1999. Per Magnusson
Per Magnusson (born 30 May 1969) is a Swedish music producer and songwriter. His musical career took off in 1994 as one of the original team members of the now-legendary Cheiron Productions, meeting great international success working with Boyzone, Britney Spears, Westlife and the Backstreet Boys. Shortly after Cheiron decided to shut down its studios in 2000, Per together with David Kreuger formed A Side Productions, having continued to produce and write songs for major artists such as Il Divo, Céline Dion, Josh Groban, Shayne Ward and Paul Potts.
