"Mouth for War" is a song by American heavy metal band Pantera. It was first released on the band's sixth album '' Vulgar Display of Power'' and was the first single off that album. It was later released on the band's compilation album, '' The Best of Pantera: Far Beyond the Great Southern Cowboys' Vulgar Hits!'' The song was released as downloadable content for the music video games ''Rock Revolution'' and ''Rock Band 3'', alongside "Walk", "I'm Broken" and "5 Minutes Alone". Lyrics and composition Vocalist Phil Anselmo stated in a 1992 interview on Much More Music, that "Mouth for War" is about channeling your hate into something productive. Biohazard (band)
Biohazard is an American hardcore band formed in Brooklyn, New York City, in 1987. They are one of the earliest bands to fuse hardcore punk and heavy metal with elements of hip hop. The original lineup consisted of bassist/vocalist Evan Seinfeld, guitarist Bobby Hambel, and drummer Anthony Meo. ''Mind Tricks'' is the third full-length studio album by the Italian melodic death metal band Disarmonia Mundi, released on June 12, 2006, by Scarlet Records. This album again features Björn "Speed" Strid on vocals, but this time without their bassist Mirco Andreis, who decided to leave the band to concentrate on his career as a video clip director. Mirco directed the video for the song "Celestial Furnace", but this time did not appear in the video. The album features a Pantera cover version of the song, "Mouth for War". Disarmonia Mundi is a melodic death metal band from Avigliana, Italy, that started out as a progressive death metal band. The project is the brainchild of the producer and multi-instrumentalist Ettore Rigotti and is mainly known for featuring Soilwork's vocalist Björn "Speed" Strid as guest vocalist on several albums. Melodic death metal (also referred to as melodeath) is a subgenre of death metal that employs highly melodic guitar riffs, often borrowing from traditional heavy metal (including New Wave of British Heavy Metal). The genre features the heaviness of death metal but with highly melodic or harmonized guitar riffs and solos, and often features high-pitched shrieked vocals (differing from traditional death metal) alongside the low-pitched growls commonly featured in traditional death metal. ''Headbangers Ball'' is a music television program that consisted of heavy metal music videos airing on MTV and its global affiliates. The show began on MTV on April 18, 1987, playing heavy metal music videos from both well-known and more obscure artists. The show offered (and became famous because of) a stark contrast to Top 40 music videos shown during the day. However, with the mainstream rise of alternative rock, grunge, pop punk and rap music in the 1990s, the relevance of ''Headbangers Ball'' came into question, and the show was ultimately canceled in 1995. Paul Rachman (born September 13, 1962) is an American film director who directed the highly praised 2006 documentary on punk music '' American Hardcore'', which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and was released by Sony Pictures Classics.
