SS-16 Sinner
The RT-21 Temp 2S was a mobile intercontinental ballistic missile developed by the Soviet Union during the Cold War. It was assigned the NATO reporting name SS-16 Sinner and carried the industry designation 15Zh42. The RT-21 was the first mobile ICBM developed in the world. Its innovative concept and design were created by Alexander Nadiradze. The RT-21M Pioner and succeeding missile complexes relied on the RT-21 base concept and were used by Nadiradze for many of his later projects. The program became mired in a series of treaty complications, including questions regarding its use of theatre missile launchers. It is unlikely that the RT-21 ultimately reached deployment, and by the mid-1980s, the program had been scrapped. Its maximum period of storage on a launcher was 5 years, and preparation time for launch was 40 minutes. TR-1 Temp
The TR-1 Temp (, Temp-S, meaning 'Speed') was a mobile theatre ballistic missile developed and deployed by the Soviet Union during the Cold War. It was assigned the NATO reporting name SS-12 Scaleboard and carried the industrial designation 9M76 and the GRAU index 9К76. A modified version was initially identified by NATO as a new design and given the SS-22 reporting name, but later recognized it as merely a variant of the original and maintained the name Scaleboard. The Temp entered service in the mid-1960s. The TR-1 was designed as a mobile weapon to give theatre (Front) commanders nuclear strike capability. The weapon used the same mobile launcher (MAZ-543) as the R-17 Elbrus missile but had an environmental protective cover that split down the middle and was only opened when the missile was ready to fire. All were decommissioned in 1988–1989 as part of the INF treaty banning such weapons. Operators ;: The Soviet Armed Forces were the only operator of the TR-1 Temp. It was ...

Start-1
Start-1 is a Russian satellite launch vehicle based on the RT-2PM Topol, a Soviet Union, Soviet intercontinental ballistic missile developed by Moscow Institute of Thermal Technology. History The Start-1 launch vehicle derives its name from the START I, Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (START I) between the United States and the Soviet Union. The START I treaty called for both sides to limit their nuclear arsenals to 6,000 nuclear warheads atop a total of 1,600 ICBMs, Submarine-launched ballistic missile, SLBMs, and bombers. This led to a lot of surplus ICBMs on both sides, including the Soviet Topol. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Russia took over responsibility for executing the treaty. The Russian government decided to dispose of some of their ICBMs by using them as launch vehicles, which was an allowed method of disposal under the treaty. Modification of the ICBMs into launch vehicles was carried out by the Moscow Institute of Thermal Technology (MITT), which ...
