Moritaka Land Tour 1990.3.3 At NHK Hall
is a live video by Japanese singer/songwriter Chisato Moritaka. Recorded live at the NHK Hall in Shibuya, Tokyo on March 3, 1990, the video was released on September 18, 2013 by Warner Music Japan on Blu-ray and DVD formats; each with a two-disc audio CD version of the concert. A limited edition Blu-ray box set includes a bonus DVD of the March 7 concert at Tokyo Kōsei Nenkin Kaikan, a digitally remastered version of the ''Moritaka Land'' CD, a 68-page booklet, a miniature reprint of the original tour pamphlet, three original photos, and a full-size poster. The video was released to coincide with the 25th anniversary of Moritaka's music career, as well as her return to the music industry after retiring in 2000. Orquesta De La Luz
is a Japanese salsa band that was formed in 1984, and began performing and recording in 1989. The band sings in Spanish and is led by vocalist Nora Shoji, who returned to traditional salsa after the band broke up in the mid-1990s. It became widely famous in Latin America, particularly in the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Panama, Mexico, Perú, Venezuela and other Caribbean area countries. (stylized as "OVERHEAT.NIGHT") is the second single by Japanese singer Chisato Moritaka. Written by Hiromasa Ijichi and Hideo Saitō, the single was released by Warner Pioneer on October 25, 1987. In contrast to the pop rock sound of Moritaka's debut single " New Season", the song uses a dance-pop arrangement. "Overnight Heat" was also released as the B-side of the mini CD reissue of "New Season" on March 25, 1988. The video album of "Overheat Night" was released in CDV format on November 28, 1988. Warner Music Japan released the "Overheat Night (Extended Mix)" 12" vinyl on November 3, 2019. Chart performance "Overheat Night" peaked at No. 24 on Oricon's singles chart and sold 22,000 copies. is the fourth single by Japanese singer/songwriter Chisato Moritaka. Released by Warner Pioneer on April 25, 1988. The lyrics were written by Chisato Moritaka, the music was composed and arranged by Hideo Saitō. The single was Moritaka's first foray in songwriting in her career. The song was used in a series of Pioneer answering machine telephone commercials featuring Moritaka. Background "Mi-ha" is a slang term for a person obsessed with following vulgar fads and trends and is not well-educated. It usually refers to specific young women, but can also be applied to men. The term was believed to have been originated from actor Chōjirō Hayashi in his 1927 film ''Chigo no Kenpō''. Mi-ha is written in either katakana as "ミーハー" or in hiragana as "みいはあ". The single was released by Warner Pioneer on February 25, 1989. The full title of the single is , a remix of "Stress" with Middle Eastern-style synthesizer arrangements. Background During a rehearsal in the middle of her first national tour in 1988, Moritaka suffered abdominal pain and had to be hospitalized for a week after being diagnosed with acute enteritis. Her doctor told her that the inflammation was caused by mental stress. As a result, the experience inspired her to write "The Stress". Music video The music video features Moritaka as a waitress having to deal with all kinds of customers at a ramen restaurant while visualizing her stress as a ghostly entity watching her. , is a Japanese composer and was the chair of the Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers (JASRAC) from 12 August 2010 to 31 March 2016. Early life Tokura began playing the violin at age 4. He spent his elementary and high school years in Germany where he gained a basic music education. (occasionally credited as You Aku) (February 7, 1937 – August 1, 2007), was a Japanese lyricist, poet, and novelist. Early life Yū Aku was born as Hiroyuki Fukada (深田公之, Fukada Hiroyuki) in Awaji Island, Hyogo, Japan. His parents both originated from the town of Kawaminami in Miyazaki Prefecture, Kyūshū, Japan. His father worked as a police constable in Hyogo prefecture. His father's career necessitated moving every few years, resulting in Aku attending three separate junior high schools. is the debut single by the Japanese hit duo Pink Lady. The single was released on August 25, 1976, under the Victor label. "Pepper Keibu" reached a peak chart position of number four, with a total of 1,050,000 sales. The titular song won the duo the Newcomer Award at the 18th Japan Record Awards.
