Montt Mardié
David Olof Peter Pagmar (born 16 September 1983) is a Swedish singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and composer. He has also performed as Montt Mardié and Monty. As Montt Mardié, he has released three full-length albums as well as various singles on the Swedish record label Hybris. He signed to the Taiwanese label Silent Agreement, as well as the UK label Ruffa Lane in 2007. May 2009 saw the release of his first UK release, Introducing...the Best Of. His first released studio album was Drama in 2005. In late 2009, he started to perform as Monty. History David Pagmar was raised in Stockholm, Sweden. His debut release was the single/ EP ''Highschool Drama'', released on 14 October 2005. This was shortly followed by his debut full-length album ''Drama'', released on 7 October 2005. Pedro Montt
Pedro Elías Pablo Montt Montt (; 29 June 1849, Santiago, Chile – 16 August 1910, Bremen, Germany) was a Chilean political figure. He served as the president of Chile from 1906 to his death from a probable stroke in 1910. His government furthered railroad and manufacturing activities but ignored pressing social and labour problems. Biography The son of the former Chilean president Manuel Montt Torres and Rosario Montt Goyenechea, Pedro Montt graduated in law from the National Institute in 1870. He was elected a member of the Chamber of Deputies in 1876 and became its president in 1885. Montt held two posts in the cabinet of President José Manuel Balmaceda, but in 1891 he took an active part in the revolution that overthrew Balmaceda. He then went to the United States, first as an agent of the revolutionary junta and later (after U.S. recognition) as Minister. Puerto Montt
Puerto Montt (Mapuche: Meli Pulli) is a port city and commune in southern Chile, located at the northern end of the Reloncaví Sound in the Llanquihue Province, Los Lagos Region, 1,055 km to the south of the capital, Santiago. The commune spans an area of and has a population of 245,902 in 2017. Jorge Montt Glacier
Jorge Montt Glacier is a tidewater glacier located in the Aisén Region of Chile, south of the town of Caleta Tortel. It lies at the north end of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field, within Bernardo O'Higgins National Park. The mouth of Pascua River is located in the vicinity of the glacier calving front. The total drainage area of the glacier is about . The glacier's ice is thinning most at low elevations, where air temperature is the highest. Ice thinning between 1975 and 2000 averaged per year over the entire glacier, and reached per year at the lowest elevations. The glacier calving front experienced a major retreat of in those 25 years as a result of rapid thinning. The glacier calves off icebergs into the Baker Channel. Teresa Wilms Montt
María Teresa de las Mercedes Wilms Montt (8 September 1893 – 24 December 1921; pseudonyms Tebal and Teresa de la Cruz), also known as Thérèse Wilms Montt, was a Chilean writer, poet, and anarcha-feminist. Described as "embodying sexual aberrance and social prophesy", she was a friend of the writers Ramón Gómez de la Serna, Enrique Gómez Carrillo, Joaquín Edwards Bello, Víctor Domingo Silva, and Ramón Valle-Inclán. Biography A scion of the Montt family, she was born in Viña del Mar, Chile, to Luz Victoria Montt y Montt and Federico Guillermo Wilms y Brieba. She was the couple's second daughter, and she had seven sisters. Educated by governesses and private tutors, she married Gustavo Balmaceda Valdés at the age of 17, against the will of her family. Rosario Montt
Rosario Montt Goyenechea (1820s – 1894) was the First Lady of Chile from 1851 to 1861, during the presidency of her husband, Manuel Montt. Early life María del Rosario Montt Goyenechea was born in Chile, the daughter of Filiberto Montt Prado (1758–1838) and María de la Luz Goyenechea de la Sierra, and part of the prominent Montt family, originally from Catalonia. Her older brother was politician José Anacleto Montt Goyenechea (1802-1867). Marriage and legacy Montt was in her teens when she married her older cousin, government official Manuel Montt Torres (1809–1880) in 1839, in Casablanca, Chile. They had sixteen children together. She was the First Lady of Chile from 1851 to 1861, during the presidency of her husband. Nicolasa Montt (, Nicolasa Montt Barros; after marriage, Nicolasa Montt de Marambio; Freirina, 1857–1924) was a Chilean poet who published in regional newspapers and books. She also translated from French works by well-known French writers. Alberto José Montt Moscoso (Quito, Ecuador, December 22, 1972) is a Chilean graphic designer and plastic artist mainly known for his online comic-strip ''Dosis diarias'', (in English, Daily Doses), where he has published since 2006 until today. He was born in Ecuador as the son of Alberto Montt (Chilean) and Consuelo Moscoso (Ecuadorian). He studied graphic design and plastic arts in Quito.
