Montana Highway 25 (MT 25) is a state highway located in the U.S. State of Montana in the east part of the state. Route description Highway 25's western terminus is at U.S. Route 2 in Wolf Point, Montana. The route heads northeast parallel to US 2 and a railroad. After bending southeastward, it passes the Lyman Clayton Airport and the Airport Golf Club, ending at Montana Highway 13, just to the north of the Missouri River. Wolf Point, Montana
Wolf Point ( asb, šųktógeja oʾípa) is an incorporated ranchingtown in, and the county seat of, Roosevelt County, Montana, United States. The population was 2,517 at the 2020 census, down 4% from 2,621 in the 2010 Census. It is the largest community on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation. Wolf Point is the home of the annual Wild Horse Stampede, held every year during the second weekend of July. Wolf Point's Wild Horse Stampede is the oldest rodeo in Montana, and has been called the "Grandaddy of Montana Rodeos". Wolf Point also is home of the Wadopana Pow-wow, the oldest traditional pow wow in Montana and always held the first week in August. Roosevelt County is a county in the U.S. state of Montana. As of the 2020 census, the population was 10,794. Its county seat is Wolf Point. Roosevelt County was created by the Montana Legislature in 1919 from a portion of Sheridan County. The name honors former president Theodore Roosevelt, who had died earlier that year. Montana Highway 13
Montana Highway 13 (MT 13) is a state highway in the east of the U.S. state of Montana. The highway begins at its southern end at MT 200 and connects the three county seats of McCone, Roosevelt and Daniels counties. It also provides access across the northern international border into Saskatchewan, towards Moose Jaw, at the Port of Scobey. Route description MT 13 begins in the northeastern corner of Circle, where MT 200 also leaves town. From here to the Missouri River crossing south of Wolf Point, the highway is classified as part of the scenic Big Sky Back County Byway. MT 13 proceeds in a northeasterly direction for a few miles before turning onto its main northerly orientation. Lewistown, Montana
Lewistown is a city in and the county seat of Fergus County, Montana, United States. The population was 5,952 at the 2020 census. Lewistown is located in the geographic center of the state, southeast of Great Falls and northwest of Billings. First planned in 1882, it was the site of an 1880s gold rush, and served as an important railway destination, supplying surrounding communities with bricks via rail. History The area was the territory of the Blackfoot Native Americans. Billings is the largest city in the U.S. state of Montana, with a population of 117,116 as of the 2020 census.
