Monique van de Ree (born 2 March 1988) is a Dutch former road cyclist, who rode professionally between 2007 and 2019 for eight different teams. She participated at the 2012 UCI Road World Championships in the Women's team time trial for . Willemstad, North Brabant
Willemstad is a city in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of Moerdijk. Its population was 2,490. Willemstad is a small historical town with well preserved fortifications. It lies on the Hollands Diep, close to the Haringvliet and Volkerak. It received city rights in 1585. The Reformed Church was built in 1607 as the first new Protestant church building in the Netherlands (see: the Reformation and its influence on church architecture). History The current name was first used in 1639 as Willemstat, and refers to William the Silent who fortified the settlement in 1583. The settlement used to be known as Ruigenhil, and was located at a strategic location along the Hollands Diep. In 1587, the fortifications were completed, and Willemstad received a heptagon (seven sided) shape with seven bastions. 2007 Vrienden Van Het Platteland Season
The 2007 women's road cycling season was the eighth season for the Vrienden van het Platteland (UCI code: VVP) cycling team, which began as ''Ondernemers van Nature'' in 2000. The main victories on the road for the team were the time trial at the Tour of Chongming Island by Ellen van Dijk and the Norwegian and Dutch Time Trial Championships by Anita Valen and Ellen van Dijk. On the track Van Dijk also won the individual pursuit at the Dutch National Track Cycling Championships. At the end of the year the team ended 23rd in the UCI Team's Ranking with Ellen van Dijk as the best individual at the 37th place in the UCI Individual Women's Road Ranking. La Vuelta Femenina (; "The Female Tour") is an elite women's professional bicycle race held in Spain.
