FIBA Under-19 World Championship
The FIBA Under-19 Basketball World Cup (formerly FIBA Under-19 World Championship) is the under-19 men's world basketball championship organised by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA). From its inauguration in 1979, until 2007, it was held every four years. Since 2007, it has been held biennially. The current champions are the United States, who defeated France in 2021. 1986 ABC Under-18 Championship
The 1986 ABC Under-18 Championship was the ninth edition of the Asian Basketball Confederation (ABC)'s Junior Championship. The games were held at Manila, Philippines from December 28, 1986, to January 4, 1987. Taiwan came to Seoul to participate the competition, but withdrew later due to the conflict about using the Chinese flag during the event. Venue The games were held at Rizal Memorial Coliseum, located in Manila. On April 14, 1984, ABC Executive Committee had a meeting at the Walkerhill Hotel, Seoul and decided to hold the next event at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, but later changed to Manila, Philippines. 2012 FIBA Asia Under-18 Championship
The 2012 FIBA Asia Under-18 Championship is the 2012 edition of the FIBA Asia's youth championship for basketball. The games were held at Ulan Bator, Mongolia between 17 August and 26 August 2012. China defeated Korea in the championship to clinch their tenth title. The two finalists, together with third-place Iran, were qualified for the 2013 FIBA Under-19 World Championship. Qualification According to the FIBA Asia rules, each zone had two places, and the hosts (Mongolia) and holders (China) were automatically qualified.
