Mongolia's Next Top Model (season 2)
The second season of Mongolia's Next Top Model premiered on 6 October 2018 on Edutainment TV. This is the second season of the series to be hosted model Nora Dagva. The prizes for this cycle were a 2-year modelling contract with Brave Model Management in Milan and a cash prize of ₮20.000.000 (about US$7,600). Eighteen-year-old Anujin Bayan-Erdene from Ulaanbaatar was crowned as the winner of the competition during a private ceremony on January 17, 2019. Chamia Chimedtseren also received a shared, posthumous first placement with Baynerdene in tribute to her memory, as she had died some months before. Ordos City
Ordos ( Mongolian: ''Ordos''; ), also known as Ih Ju, is one of the twelve major subdivisions of Inner Mongolia, China. It lies within the Ordos Plateau of the Yellow River. Although mainly rural, Ordos is administered as a prefecture-level city. Its population was 2,153,638 as of the 2020 census and its built-up (or metro) area made up of Ejin Horo Banner and Kangbashi District was home to 366,779 inhabitants, as Dongsheng District (574,442 inhabitants) is not a conurbation yet. Xiangshawan
Xiangshawan, also known as and by other names, is a AAAAA-rated tourist area in the Dalad Banner of Ordos Prefecture in Inner Mongolia, China. Amid China's general campaign to combat desertification, the mostly unreclaimable site in the Gobi's Kubuqi Desert was developed as the country's first desert-themed tourism resort. It now consists of four "islands" of activities located around the Sand Dune Resort. Mongolian folk culture is displayed, and annual cultural events include an International Photography Week and a sand sculpture festival. Most popular during the summer, Xiangshawan is currently developing a ski resort to attract tourists during the winter months as well.
