Momentum (Neal Morse Album)
Momentum is the ninth progressive rock album by Neal Morse, released in September 2012. The album features Mike Portnoy on drums and Randy George on bass. The title track "Momentum" was released in late July 2012, along with a music video. Guests include Eric Gillette and Bill Hubauer who would later found Neal Morse discography#With The Neal Morse Band, The Neal Morse Band with Morse, Portnoy and George. "Thoughts" is the fifth part of a cross-album suite, with other parts being featured on the Spock's Beard albums ''Beware of Darkness (album), Beware of Darkness'' and ''V (Spock's Beard album), V''. "Afterthoughts", the third part of the cycle, was released on Spock's Beard's 2013 album Brief Nocturnes and Dreamless Sleep. As of the spring of 2020, there is no official release of a fourth part of the "Thoughts" cycle. Rick Altizer is a film director, recording artist, music producer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and radio show host. In 2021, Altizer wrote and directed ''Show Me the Father'', produced by Mark Miller and executive produced by the Kendrick Brothers. The film received an A+ CinemaScore. He also wrote and directed "Russ Taff: I Still Believe" (winner of 9 film awards). Paul Brandon Gilbert is an American hard rock and heavy metal guitarist. He is the co-founder of the band Mr. Big, and was also a member of Racer X, with whom he released several albums.
