''Mom's on Strike'' is a television film starring Faith Ford and Tim Matheson. It premiered on ABC Family in 2002. It was directed by James Keach and written by Nancey Silvers. Faith Ford
Faith Alexis Ford (born September 14, 1964) is an American actress. She is known for her roles as Corky Sherwood on the CBS sitcom '' Murphy Brown'', for which she received five Primetime Emmy Award nominations, and as Hope Shanowski on the ABC sitcom ''Hope & Faith''. Early life Ford was born as Faith Alexis Ford in Alexandria, Louisiana, the younger daughter of Patricia Walker, a schoolteacher, and Charles Ford, an insurance agent. James Keach (born December 7, 1947) is an American actor and filmmaker. He is the younger brother of actor Stacy Keach Jr. and son of actor Stacy Keach Sr. Early life and education Keach was born in Savannah, Georgia, the son of Mary Cain (), an actress, and Stacy Keach Sr., Walter Stacy Keach Sr., a drama coach, actor, writer, and producer. ''ABC Afterschool Special'' is an American television anthology series that aired on American Broadcasting Company, ABC from October 4, 1972, to January 23, 1997, usually in the late afternoon on weekdays. Most episodes were dramatically presented situations, often controversial, of interest to children and teenagers. Several episodes were either in animated form or presented as documentaries. Topics included illiteracy, substance abuse and teenage pregnancy. The series won 51 Daytime Emmy Awards during its 25-year run.
