"Mollie's Song" is a song by British singer Beverley Craven from her second album, '' Love Scenes''. Details The song was written about Craven's eldest daughter Mollie, born in 1992, and the lyrics talk about the joy of motherhood and the lifelong duties to it. Beverley Craven (born 28 July 1963) is a British singer-songwriter best known for her 1991 UK hit single " Promise Me". Her album '' Change of Heart'' was released in 2014 and '' Mixed Emotions'' in 1999. Biography Early life Craven was born in Colombo, Ceylon (now Sri Lanka), in July 1963, while her British father was working there for Kodak. He later worked as an investment advisor. Within two years, the family had relocated to rural Buckinghamshire, to a bungalow on a five acre plot and where her younger twin sisters were born. Craven began taking piano lessons at the age of seven, encouraged by her music teacher mother who was a classical violinist and who had performed at the Royal Albert Hall. The Official Charts (legal name: The Official UK Charts Company Limited) is a British inter-professional organization that compiles various "official" record charts in the United Kingdom, Ireland and France. In the United Kingdom, its charts include ones for singles, albums and films, with the data compiled from a mixture of downloads, purchases (of physical media) and streaming. Anne Lucinda Hartley Rice (born 4 October 1958), known professionally as Anneka Rice, is a Welsh-born television and radio presenter, broadcaster, journalist and painter. ''Love Scenes'' is the second studio album by British singer Beverley Craven, released in September 1993 through Epic Records. Background Craven started writing new songs for her second album while touring for the first one. Epic wanted to release a follow-up to her successful debut album ''Beverley Craven'' in 1992 to capitalize on her success. However, Craven gave birth to her first daughter, Mollie, in early 1992, and decided to postpone the album's release to take care of the baby, eventually releasing it in September 1993. The album, like her debut, was produced by Paul Samwell-Smith. It features his former Yardbirds bandmate Jeff Beck on guitar on three tracks. The album was written by Craven herself, except for the song "Love Is the Light", which was co-written with her husband Colin Campsie, this being the only time she has collaborated on writing a song. Challenge Anneka
''Challenge Anneka'' is a British reality programme that aired on BBC1 from 8 September 1989 to 15 October 1995 and was hosted by Anneka Rice. It was announced in 2006 that the series was returning, but this time on ITV. The first of the two specials was shown on Boxing Day 2006. The second was transmitted in June 2007. On 23 May 2022, it was announced that the series would be revived again, this time on Channel 5 for a four-part series. This was shot September-November 2022.
