Alexandru Epureanu
Alexandru Epureanu (born 27 September 1986) is a Moldovan professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Süper Lig club Ümraniyespor and the Moldova national team. Club career Born in Chișinau, Epureanu joined FC Sheriff Tiraspol in summer 2004. He has won Moldovan Footballer of the Year in 2007, 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2018. Since playing for FC Sheriff Tiraspol, he has gone on to play for Dinamo Moscow. On 2 July 2014, Epureanu signed for İstanbul Başakşehir. He made his league debut for the club on 30 August 2014 in a 1–1 home draw with Kasımpaşa, playing all ninety minutes of the match. He scored his first league goal for the club on 5 October 2014 in a 4–0 home victory over Akhisarspor. His goal, scored in the sixth minute, made the score 1–0 to İstanbul BB. Sergiu Dadu (born 23 January 1981) is a Moldovan former footballer who played as a striker. He was also a member of Moldova national football team. Club career Dadu was born in Chişinău. He started his career at Sheriff Tiraspol and was loaned to Constructorul Chişinău in January 2002. He played the league rival until January 2003. In summer 2003, he left on loan to Alania Vladikavkaz along with Cristian Tudor. Dadu was left for CSKA Moscow in summer 2004, but left on loan to Alania Vladikavkaz again in 2005 season. Serghei Cleșcenco (; born 20 May 1972) is a Moldovan football coach and a former player. He is the manager of the Moldova national team. He holds the record for the most goals scored in a single season by a foreigner in Israel. He is a former manager of Zimbru Chișinău, where he also spent large parts of his playing career. Career After a successful period with Zimbru Chișinău, Cleșcenco was taken on trial by English club Watford in early 1998.
