Moldova Women's National Under-19 Football Team
The Moldova women's national under-19 football team represents Moldova in international football at this age level and is controlled by the Moldovan Football Federation, the governing body for football in Moldova. The team is considered to be the feeder team for the senior Moldovan women's national football team. The team competes to qualify for the UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship held every year. Since the establishment of the Moldovan women's under-19 team, the under-19 side has never reached a final tournament of the UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship, but has produced many players, who have become regular internationals for the senior side. Players born on or after 1 January 2005 are eligible for the 2024 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship qualification. They are currently coached by Alexandra Bocancea. 2003 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship
The UEFA Women's U-19 Championship 2003 Final Tournament was held in Germany between 25 July – 3 August 2003. Players born after 1 January 1984 were eligible to participate in this competition. The tournament is notable for featuring a penalty kick shootout in the final group game in Group A between Italy and Sweden to determine the second semifinal qualifier. This is the first time that a penalty-kick shootout has been used in the group stage of a tournament since the rule was introduced. Qualifying 36 teams played for seven free places in the final. 2016 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship
The 2016 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship was the 15th edition of the UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship (19th edition if the Under-18 era is included), the annual European international youth football championship contested by the women's under-19 national teams of UEFA member associations. Slovakia, which were selected by UEFA on 20 March 2012, hosted the tournament between 19 and 31 July 2016. A total of eight teams played in the tournament, with players born on or after 1 January 1997 eligible to participate. Qualification The national teams from 47 UEFA member associations entered the competition. With Slovakia automatically qualified as hosts, the other 46 teams contested a qualifying competition to determine the remaining seven spots in the final tournament. The 2015 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship was the 14th edition of the UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship (18th edition if the Under-18 era is included), the annual European youth football competition contested by the women's under-19 national teams of the member associations of UEFA. Israel hosted the tournament. Players born on or after 1 January 1996 were eligible to participate in this competition. Same as previous editions held in odd-numbered years, the tournament acted as the UEFA qualifiers for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. The UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship 2014 Final Tournament was held in Norway from 15 to 27 July 2014. The first qualification matches were played on 21 September 2013.
