Moist Music
Moist Music is a New York City based electronic dance music record label that is a subsidiary of Phase One Communications. Victor Ortiz, aka Vicious Vic established Moist Music in 2004. Victor was previously part of the founding crew members of the early Caffeine movement in New York City, alongside his early production partner DJ Micro from the duo Progression. Moist Music produces independent CDs and albums in major retail, as well as simultaneous digital releases for all new albums. Beginning in fall 2007, Moist began to release all albums through the back catalog digitally. An incomplete list of artists is provided below. Dave Seaman
Dave Seaman (born 29 April 1968) is a British DJ and record producer. He was formerly a member of the Disco Mix Club, DMC Publishing, and editor of music magazine ''Mixmag''. Biography He formed Brothers in Rhythm with Steve Anderson (musician), Steve Anderson and they were later joined by Alan Bremner, doing production work for (amongst others) Pet Shop Boys and Kylie Minogue and remixes for David Bowie, New Order (band), New Order, U2, Michael Jackson and more. He has since founded Audio Therapy record label and now runs Selador Recordings with Steve Parry. AK1200 is the stage name of Florida-based musician Dave Minner working in the jungle and drum and bass genres.' Career His first production effort was a 1993 remix of a Suburban Base Records track ''Somebody'' by Flex and Fats. AK1200 was also the first American DJ to play on U.K. pirate radio, alongside Swift and on Format FM alongside DJ Zinc. His debut album ''SHOOTTOKILL'' was co-produced with Rob Playford of ''Moving Shadow''. DJ Icey, (born Eddie Pappa), is an American DJ, electronic music producer, and remixer, credited by Allmusic as having helped to "jump-start the increasingly fertile dance scene in and around Orlando, FL, during the '90s."
