Mohammed Saleh Ali Al-Musalami ( ar, محمد بن صالح المسلمي; born 20 April 1990), commonly known as Mohammed Al-Musalami, is an Omani association footballer, footballer who plays as a Defender (association football), centre back for Al-Seeb Club, Al-Seeb. Club career On 17 July 2013, he agreed a one-year contract extension with 2012–13 Oman Elite League runners-up Fanja SC. On 2 July 2014, he agreed a one-year contract extension with Fanja SC. In September 2021, he joined Qatar Stars League club Al-Gharafa SC, Al-Gharafa. Sohar
Sohar ( ar, صُحَار, also Romanized as Suḥār) is the capital and largest city of the Al Batinah North Governorate in Oman. An ancient capital of the country that once served as an important Islamic port town, Suhar has also been credited as the mythical birthplace of Sinbad the Sailor. The 2009–10 Omani League (known as the ''Oman Mobile League'' for sponsorship reasons) was the 34th edition of the top football league in Oman. It began on 12 September 2009 and finished on 7 May 2010. Al-Nahda Club were the defending champions, having won the previous 2008–09 Oman League season. On Friday, 7 May 2010, Al-Suwaiq Club played out a 1–1 draw away in their final league match against Al-Nasr S.C.S.C. and emerged as the champions of the 2009–10 Oman Mobile League with a total of 44 points. Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex
The Sultan Qaboos Stadium at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex ( ar, مجمع السلطان قابوس الرياضي), also known locally as Boshar ( ar, بوشر), is a government-owned multi-purpose stadium in the Boshar district of Muscat, Oman. It is currently used mostly for football matches, and also has facilities for athletics. The 22nd Arabian Gulf Cup ( ar, كأس الخليج العربي) was the 22nd edition of the biennial football competition, and took place between 13 and 26 November 2014 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It was scheduled to take place in Basra, Iraq but was shifted after concerns over preparations and security. Iraq was also due to host the 2013 tournament, but this was moved to Bahrain instead. After being moved to Saudi Arabia, Jeddah was initially announced as the host city but was later moved to Riyadh. Qatar won the cup by defeating Saudi Arabia 2–1 in the final. The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) section of the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification saw 43 teams competing for 4 or 5 berths in the final tournament in Brazil. As in recent tournaments the AFC had four direct qualifiers for the finals tournament in addition to a further possible place via the intercontinental play-offs against CONMEBOL's fifth-placed team, which was chosen through a random draw, rather than being decided by FIFA beforehand as in previous tournaments (e.g., 2010 against a team from OFC, 2006 against a team from CONCACAF).
