Miss Nicaragua 2015
The Miss Nicaragua 2015 pageant, was held on March 7, 2015 in Managua, after several weeks of events. At the conclusion of the final night of competition, Daniela Torres Bonilla from Managua won the title. She represented Nicaragua at Miss Universe 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada later that year. The rest of the finalists would enter different pageants. Marianela Lacayo Mendoza (b. 20 March 1981) is a Nicaraguan model and entrepreneur. She was the winner of Miss Nicaragua 2002 and Miss World Latin International 2002 beauty pageants. Lacayo was born in Managua. She holds a degree in business administration from UNICIT and MBA from the American University of Nicaragua and Technological Institute of Monterray, Master in Image consulting from the Color Me Beautiful school in London and a diploma in Leadership and Electoral Strategies for Political Women from Latin University of Panama. Estelí (), officially Villa de San Antonio de Pavia de Estelí is a city and municipality within the Estelí department. It is the 3rd largest city in Nicaragua due to the high urbanization of its municipality, at 83%, with an urban population of 120,014 (2017 estimate).
