Miss Maine's Outstanding Teen
''For the state pageant affiliated with Miss Teen USA, see Miss Maine Teen USA'' The Miss Maine's Teen competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the U.S. state of Maine in the Miss America's Teen pageant. Leah Herrick of Auburn was crowned Miss Maine's Teen on June 24, 2023 at the Freeport Performing Arts Center in Freeport, Maine. She will compete for the title of Miss America's Teen 2024 in January 2024. In January 2023, the official name of the pageant was changed from Miss Maine's Outstanding Teen, to Miss Maine’s Teen, in accordance with the national pageant. Miss Teen USA
Miss Teen USA is a beauty pageant formerly run, since 1983, by the Miss Universe Organization for girls aged 14–19. Unlike its sister pageants Miss Universe, which currently broadcasts on Fox and Miss USA, this pageant is webcast on the Miss Teen USA website and simulcast on mobile devices and video game consoles. The Miss Universe Organization previously operated Miss Teen USA, as well as Miss USA, until 2020 when the rights to produce both pageants were licensed to Miss USA 2008 Crystle Stewart. The parent company of all three pageants and the Miss Universe organization remains the same under the licensing agreement: JKN Metaverse Inc., a subsidiary of JKN Global Group. Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2011 was the 6th Miss America's Outstanding Teen pageant held at the Linda Chapin Theatre in the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, on July 29, 2017. Hollis is a town in York County, Maine, United States. The population was 4,745 at the 2020 census. Hollis is a rural bedroom community of Portland and is part of the Portland–South Portland–Biddeford, Maine metropolitan statistical area.
