''For the state competition affiliated with Miss Florida, see Miss Florida's Outstanding Teen'' The Miss Florida's Teen competition is the competition that selects the representative for the U.S. state of Florida in the Miss America's Teen competition. Aashna Shah of Wekiva Springs was crowned Miss Florida's Outstanding Teen on June 25, 2022 at the Youkey Theater in Lakeland, Florida. She competed for the title of Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2023 at the Hyatt Regency Dallas in Dallas, Texas on August 12, 2022. In January of 2023, the official name of the pageant was changed from Miss Florida’s Outstanding Teen, to Miss Florida’s Teen, in accordance with the national pageant. Miss Florida
The Miss Florida competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Florida in the Miss America pageant. Florida has twice won the Miss America crown. In the fall of 2018, the Miss America Organization terminated Miss Florida organization's license as well as licenses from Georgia, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and West Virginia. In December 2018, the Miss America Organization reinstated licensing for the Miss Florida Scholarship Pageant Inc., along with the organizations in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and West Virginia. Lindsay Bettis of Ponte Vedra Beach was crowned Miss Florida 2022 on June 25, 2022 at Youkey Theater in Lakeland, Florida. The Miss Alabama's Teen competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the U.S. state of Alabama in the Miss America's Teen pageant. Jessica Baeder of Auburn, Alabama was the first contestant from Alabama to win the national title on July 29, 2017. Elaina Burt of Hoover was crowned Miss Alabama's Teen on March 12, 2023 at Thompson High School in Alabaster, Alabama. She will compete for the title of Miss America's Teen 2024. Bradenton ( ) is a city in and the county seat of Manatee County, Florida, Manatee County, Florida, United States. As of the 2020 United States Census, 2020 census, the city's population is 55,698. History Late 18th and early 19th centuries A settlement established by Maroons or escaped slaves named Angola, Florida, Angola existed in Bradenton's present area starting in the late 1700s and ending in 1821.
