Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2018
Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2018 was the 12th Miss America's Outstanding Teen pageant held at the Linda Chapin Theatre in the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida on July 29, 2017, the same date as Miss Teen USA 2017. Nicole Jia of Oklahoma crowned her successor Jessica Baeder of Alabama at the end of the event. This was the first time that Miss Alabama's Outstanding Teen captured the title of Miss America's Outstanding Teen. As of 2023, it is the first and only edition of Miss America's Outstanding Teen to have two contestants who would later go on to capture the title of Miss America; Emma Broyles of Alaska and Grace Stanke of Wisconsin, who won Miss America 2022 & 2023 respectively. The Miss Alabama's Teen competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the U.S. state of Alabama in the Miss America's Teen pageant. Jessica Baeder of Auburn, Alabama was the first contestant from Alabama to win the national title on July 29, 2017. Elaina Burt of Hoover was crowned Miss Alabama's Teen on March 12, 2023 at Thompson High School in Alabaster, Alabama. She will compete for the title of Miss America's Teen 2024. Miss Washington's Outstanding Teen
The Miss Washington's Teen competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the U.S. state of Washington in the Miss America's Teen pageant. The competition is held each June in Olympia, Washington and consists of five categories; private interview, health and fitness, talent, evening gown and on stage conversation. Emily Hamilton of Snoqualmie was named Miss Washington's Teen on June 24, 2023 at the Capital High School Performing Arts Center in Olympia, Washington. She will compete at Miss America's Teen 2024 in January 2024. Glendale () is a city in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States, located approximately northwest of Downtown Phoenix. As of the 2020 census, it had a population of 248,325. History In the late 1800s the area that is now Glendale was all desert. William John Murphy, a native of New Hartford, New York, who resided in the town of Flagstaff in what was then the territory of Arizona, was in charge of building the Arizona Canal from Granite Reef to New River for the Arizona Canal Company. The Miss America 2022 competition was held on December 17, 2021. This was the 94th Miss America competition and was held at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut, as the Miss America Organization celebrated its 100th anniversary. It was the first Miss America since 1954 that was not televised, but it was streamed on Peacock. There were several technical glitches within the stream throughout the show, causing many viewers to complain on social media about the production value.
