Pak Ton-ji (; July 3, 1342 – September 17, 1422) was a Korean scholar-bureaucrat, diplomat, and ambassador, representing Joseon interests in the ''tongsinsa'' (diplomatic mission) to the Ashikaga shogunate (''Muromachi bafuku'') in Japan.Kang, Etsuko H. Park Ji-min (; born October 13, 1995), known mononymously as Jimin, is a South Korean singer and dancer. In 2013, he made his debut as a member of the South Korean boy band BTS, under the record label Big Hit Entertainment. Jimin has released three solo tracks with BTS: "Lie" in 2016, "Serendipity" in 2017, and "Filter" in 2020, all of which have charted on South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart. Gyeongmyeong Of Silla
Gyeongmyeong of Silla (died 924) (r. 917–924) was the 54th ruler of the Korean kingdom of Silla. He was the eldest son of King Sindeok and Princess Uiseong. He ruled during the Later Three Kingdoms period, when much of his country's former domain was divided between Hubaekje and Taebong. In 918, Wang Geon overthrew Gung Ye, who had been the ruler of Taebong, and established Goryeo. Gyeongmyeong joined forces with him in 920, and their allied armies were able to repel a Hubaekje assault on Daeya Castle. However, after this many border commanders chose to desert Silla in favor of Later Goguryeo, so Gyeongmyeong was left no better off than before. King Gyeongmyeong sought to get aid from Tang China, and sent missions bearing tribute, but was unsuccessful. After his death in 924, King Gyeongmyeong was buried to the north of Hwangboksa temple. The ''Encyclopedia of Korean Local Culture'' (EKLC; ; abbreviated 향문) is an online encyclopedia operated by the Academy of Korean Studies (AKS) and the Ministry of Education, which are in turn supported by the South Korean government. , it is subdivided into 230 regional encyclopedias, with 111 of them considered to be complete. The various regional encyclopedias are located at subdomains of the main "grandculture.net" domain. The encyclopedia began to be compiled in 2003.
