MIRROR is a multimedia project created by Canadian singer-songwriter Thomas Anselmi, former singer for Copyright and Slow. Formed in 2003, the project is based in Los Angeles, California, and Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Album The ''Mirror'' album was released in 2009. It differs from Anselmi's prior punk and alt rock styles, containing semi-orchestral and cinematic elements. Anselmi says he was influenced by the soundtracks of David Lynch films and by the aesthetics of pop music and television variety shows, particularly German Schlager. The Grapes Of Wrath (band)
The Grapes of Wrath are a platinum-selling Canadian rock band. Formed in 1983, they enjoyed their greatest commercial success in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The group split in 1992, with Kane going solo while Jones and the Hoopers continued to record as Ginger. Vocalists Tom Hooper and Kevin Kane briefly reunited as the Grapes of Wrath for one album in 2000. With the return of Chris Hooper for a festival appearance in 2010, the three founding members were back together and have continued to perform and record since. Knox Chandler is an American musician known primarily as a guitarist, though he also plays cello, keyboards and other instruments. He has worked extensively as a session musician. In the early to mid-1970s, Chandler attended the Hammonasset School and Bard College. Chandler worked with Depeche Mode, Lori Carson, The Golden Palominos, the Psychedelic Furs, Ultra Vivid Scene, Maggie Estep, the Creatures and R.E.M. Michael David Garson (born July 29, 1945) is an American pianist, who has worked with David Bowie, Nine Inch Nails, St. Vincent, Duran Duran, Free Flight and The Smashing Pumpkins. Early career Garson went to Lafayette High School in Brooklyn. After graduating from Brooklyn College with a music degree in 1970, Garson was a member of rock/country/jazz band Brethren with Rick Marotta, Tom Cosgrove and Stu Woods. Phillip Charles Western (August 12, 1971 – February 4, 2019) was a Canadian musician, based in Vancouver and a founding member of the bands Download, PlatEAU, Frozen Rabbit, and Off and Gone.
