Ministry Of Sound Anthems
Anthems 1991–2008 is a compilation album released by Ministry of Sound in Australia and the UK and the first in a series. The three CD set features dance singles from the period of 1991–2007 (despite the "2008" in the title). UK Series ''Anthems 1991–2008'' is the first in a series of albums released by the Ministry of Sound. The series is split into three mini-series, these are "Anthems", "Chilled" and "Ibiza". There is not an official name for the series, but is often called 'Anthems' after four albums in the series and the first mini-series. Currently, there are eight different albums in the series. The artwork scheme follows the ''Fifteen Years'' release of 2006, which is sometimes seen as the pre-runner to ''Anthems 1991–2008''. AnnaGrace, formerly Ian Van Dahl, was a Belgian progressive house, electro house, and deep house music project fronted by Belgian singer Annemie Coenen and produced by DJ and record producer Peter Luts. "It Just Won't Do" is a song by English DJ and producer Tim Deluxe, featuring English singer Sam Obernik on vocals. The track, a Latin-inspired house song, was written by Tim Deluxe and Ben Onono and was produced by the former. The song contains a prominent trumpet riff performed by Simon Finch. Following exposure at the Winter Music Conference in Miami, Florida, the song gained popularity in dance clubs and was eventually released as a standalone single through Underwater Records on 8 July 2002. Christophe Le Friant (; born 10 May 1969), better known by his stage name Bob Sinclar (), is a French record producer, DJ and remixer. He is the owner of the record label Yellow Productions. Musical career A native of Paris, Le Friant began DJing in the 1980s under the name Chris the French Kiss. During this time he was more influenced by hip hop and jazz music and created music projects such as The Mighty Bop and Reminiscence Quartet, the latter with an ensemble of musicians and where Le Friant used the alias Desmond K. In 1998 Le Friant adopted name of Bob Sinclar after the titular character from the 1973 film ''Le Magnifique''. Basement Jaxx are an English electronic music duo consisting of Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe. The pair got their name from the regular club night they held in Brixton, London, UK. Norman Quentin Cook (born Quentin Leo Cook, 31 July 1963), also known by his stage name Fatboy Slim, is an English musician, DJ, and record producer who helped to popularise the big beat genre in the 1990s.
