Casimir de Rochechouart, 11th Duke of Mortemart (''Casimir Louis Victurnien''; 20 March 1787, Paris – 1 January 1875, Neauphle-le-Vieux), prince of Tonnay-Charente, then Baron of Mortemart and of the Empire, 11th duke of Mortemart and peer of France (1814), was a French soldier, diplomat and politician. In 1830 Charles X of France made him president of the Conseil des ministres. Biography He was the son of Victurnien-Jean-Baptiste de Rochechouart, 10th Duke of Mortemart (1752–1812), and his second wife, and Adélaïde de Cossé (1765–1820), only daughter of Louis-Hercule-Timoléon de Cossé, duc de Brissac (1734–92), and Adélaïde-Diane-Hortense-Délie Mancini (herself daughter of the duc de Nivernais). François Mauguin
François Mauguin (24 February 1785 - 4 June 1854) was a French lawyer and politician. He was a Deputy from 1827 to 1848 and a Representative in 1848 and 1849. He played a leading role in the July Revolution of 1830. At first a passionate liberal, he later became increasingly conservative. Early life François Mauguin was born at Dijon, Côte-d'Or, on 24 February 1785. He was the son of a prosecutor (''procureur au parlement'') and studied for the bar. He completed his legal studies at the Academy of Law and then the Law School of Paris, graduating in 1804. He became an advocate during the First French Empire. Bourbon Restoration In 1815 Mauguin pleaded before the appeals court for Charles de la Bédoyère, who had been sentenced to death by a court-martial. Pierre-François Audry, called Audry de Puyraveau (27 September 1773 - 6 December 1852) was a French politician. He was a deputy during the Bourbon Restoration. He played a key role in the July Revolution, and was a deputy during the July Monarchy. In his old age he was a Representative in the Constituent Assembly after the Revolution of 1848. Early years Pierre-François Audry was born in Puyravault, Charente-Maritime, on 27 September 1773. He was the son of Pierre Audry, merchant, and his wife Françoise Rondeau. Audry became a member of the French Carbonari, an underground movement hostile to the Bourbon Restoration. Audry, described as a ''propriétaire'' of Rochefort, was elected deputy on 28 January 1822 for the 2nd electoral district of Charente-Inférieure (Rochefort). Baron Auguste Jean Marie de Schonen (12 February 1782 – 4 December 1849) was a French lawyer and politician. He was a deputy in the National Assembly, and played a leading role in the July Revolution of 1830. Later he became more conservative and was made a peer of France by King Louis Philippe. Georges Mouton, Count, comte de Lobau (21 February 1770 – 27 November 1838) was a French soldier and political figure who rose to the rank of Marshal of France. Biography Born in Phalsbourg, Lorraine (région), Lorraine, he enlisted in the French Revolutionary Army in 1792. Serving in the early campaigns of the French Revolutionary Wars, he by 1800 he was promoted to the rank of colonel. Jacques Laffitte
Jacques Laffitte (24 October 1767 – 26 May 1844) was a leading French banker, governor of the Bank of France (1814–1820) and liberal member of the Chamber of Deputies during the Bourbon Restoration and July Monarchy. He was an important figure in the development of new banking techniques during the early stages of industrialization in France. In politics, he played a decisive role during the Revolution of 1830 that brought Louis-Philippe, the duc d'Orléans, to the throne, replacing the unpopular Bourbon king Charles X. Laffitte was named president of the new Citizen King's Council of Ministers and Minister of Finances (2 November 1830 – 13 March 1831).
