Ministry Of Public Works (Bangsamoro)
The Ministry of Public Works (MPW), is the regional executive department of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) responsible for affairs relating to the construction and maintenance of government infrastructure in the region. History When the ARMM was succeeded by the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) in 2019, the regional departments of the former Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao were reconfigured into ministries of Bangsamoro. The Ministry of Public Works succeeded from the ARMM regional office of the Department of Public Works and Highways. Bangsamoro Interim Chief Minister Murad Ebrahim appointed himself as Minister of Public Works. Murad took over the DPWH–ARMM, which was reorganized into the Ministry of Public Works on February 26, 2019 in an official turnover ceremony. Cotabato City
Cotabato City, officially the City of Cotabato ( Maguindanaon: ''Kuta nu Kutawatu'', Jawi: كوتا نو كوتاواتو; Iranun: ''Bandar a Kotawato'', بندر ا كوتاواتو; fil, Lungsod ng Cotabato), is a third class independent component city in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 325,079 people, making it as the most populated city under the independent component city status. Cotabato City was formerly a part and the regional center of Region XII, but due to the ratification of the Bangsamoro Organic Law, it is now part of Bangsamoro and serves as the regional center. Eduard Uy Guerra is a Filipino architect and politician who is a current member of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority Parliament and the Bangsamoro Minister of Public Works Career Moro Islamic Liberation Front Guerra was a member of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) and adopted the '' nom-de-guerre'' "Abraham Yap Alonto". Ahod Balawag Ebrahim (born 15 May 1949), better known as Al-hajj Murad Ebrahim, is a Moro Filipino politician and former rebel leader currently serving as the first chief minister of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. As the current chairman of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front, a Moro regionalist and Islamist armed group in the southern Philippines, Ebrahim is a key figure in the Bangsamoro Peace Process in the Philippines.
