Cabinet Of Jordan
The Cabinet (government), Cabinet of Jordan is led by the Prime Minister of Jordan, Prime Minister who is appointed by the List of kings of Jordan, King. The Prime Minister is then free to form his own cabinet which is responsible to the Chamber of Deputies of Jordan, Chamber of Deputies on matters of general policy and can be forced to resign by a two-thirds vote of "Motion of no confidence, no confidence" by that body or be dismissed by the King. Suleiman Nabulsi
Suleiman Nabulsi (; 1908 – 14 October 1976) was a leftist Jordanian political figure who served as the 12th Prime Minister of Jordan in 1956–57. In October 1956 during the 1956 elections, the National Socialist Party headed by Nabulsi won a plurality of 16 out of 40 seats in the Jordanian House of Representatives. Subsequently, King Hussein asked him to form a government; it was the first elected government in Jordan's history. Nabulsi's government was short-lived. His policies as Prime Minister frequently clashed with that of King Hussein's. Nabulsi wanted Jordan to move closer to Egypt under Gamal Abdel Nasser, but Hussein wanted it to stay in the Western camp. Disagreements between the monarchy and the leftist government culminated after Nabulsi provided Hussein with an expanded list of officers in the army he wanted to dismiss. Hazem Zaki Nuseibeh (; 6 May 1922 – 10 April 2022), also spelled Nusseibeh and Nusaybah, was a Jordanian politician and diplomat of Palestinian people, Palestinian descent. Bahjat Talhouni (; 1913 – January 30, 1994) was a Jordanian political figure. He served as the 14th Prime Minister of Jordan between 1960 and 1970 for six different terms. Talhouni was Prime Minister from August 1969 to June 1970, during a particularly turbulent time of friction and skirmishes between the Government and thousands of Palestinian guerrillas who were then in Jordan. The Palestinian guerrillas, members of various organizations, frequently disregarded Jordanian laws and came to be almost a state within a state. In February 1970, King Hussein of Jordan met with their leaders at Talhouni's house in Amman. At that meeting the King agreed not to enforce restrictions on the Palestinians carrying firearms in Jordanian towns, and the leaders of the guerrillas promised to try to make their followers less unruly.
