Ali Allawi
Ali Abdul-Amir Allawi (Arabic: علي عبد الامير علاوي) (born 1947) was Iraq's Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister He is an Iraqi politician and scholar. From May 2020 to August 2022, he ran as Iraq's Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister. He resigned from the post of finance minister on August 16, 2022 due to the deteriorating political situation in Iraq. He was Minister of Trade and Minister of Defense in the cabinet appointed by the Interim Iraq Governing Council from September 2003 until 2004, and subsequently Minister of Finance in the Iraqi Transitional Government between 2005 and 2006. Ali Mahmud al-Shaykh Ali al-Hiazi al-Obeidi is an Iraqi politician, born on June 3, 1901 in Abu Ghraib. Life He entered politics in 1922, when he entered the elections of the House of Representatives and won the Diwaniya Brigade. He served as Minister of Justice in the Ministry of Hikmat Suleiman as a replacement for Salih Jabr, who resigned in 1937. Jamil Al-Midfai
Jamil Al Midfai (Arabic: جميل المدفعي; (1958 – 1890)) was an Iraqi politician. He served as the country's prime minister on five separate occasions. Biography Born in the town of Mosul, Midfai served in the Ottoman army during World War I, but deserted in 1916 to take part in the nationalist Arab Revolt. After the war, he was an aide to the Emir Faisal during his brief reign in Syria. He returned to Iraq in 1920, but was soon forced into exile in Jordan because of his anti-British nationalist activities. Upon his return in 1923, he served in various senior provincial capacities and finally joined the cabinet in 1930. Salih (; ar, صَالِحٌ, Ṣāliḥ, lit=Pious), also spelled Saleh (), is an Arab prophet mentioned in the Quran who prophesied to the tribe of Thamud in ancient Arabia, before the lifetime of Muhammad. Salih Jabr
Sayyid Salih Jabr ( ar, سيد صالح جبر; 1896–1957) was an Iraqi statesman who served as the prime minister of Iraq from March 1947 to January 1948. He was the first Shi'ite to become prime minister. In the 1930s and 1940s, Salih attended the office of minister of justice, education, foreign affairs, interior, and finance. He was not accepted by young liberal and nationalist politicians who had been roughly handled when he was wartime minister of interior.
