Minister For Police And Emergency Services (New South Wales)
The New South Wales Minister for Police is a minister in the Government of New South Wales who has responsibilities which include the conduct and regulation of all police and services agencies and personnel and also deals with operational and event planning issues, and fire and rescue services in New South Wales, Australia. The Minister also serves as the Vice-Patron of NSW Police Legacy. The current Minister for Police is Paul Toole, since 21 December 2021. Toole also serves as the Deputy Premier of New South Wales and the Minister for Regional New South Wales, since 6 October 2021. On the 21 December 2021 upon the appointment of Steph Cooke as the Minister for Emergency Services and Resilience the portfolio for the Minister of Police and Emergency Services was split. Paul Toole
Paul Lawrence Toole (born 2 August 1970), an Australian politician, is the Deputy Premier and leader of the New South Wales Nationals since October 2021. Toole is the Minister for Regional New South Wales in the second Berejiklian and Perrottet ministries, since April 2019; and the New South Wales Minister for Police in the Perrottet ministry since December 2021. He is a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly, representing Bathurst for the Nationals since 26 March 2011. New South Wales Crime Commission
The New South Wales Crime Commission is a statutory corporation of the Government of New South Wales. It is constituted by the Crime Commission Act 2012, the object of which is to reduce the incidence of organised crime and other serious crime in the state of New South Wales, Australia. In more recent years, the commission has also taken on a charter of assisting with the investigation of terrorism related offences. However, it became the subject of controversy following various allegations relating covert operations, secrecy and absence of defined accountability, and the conviction of an assistant director for serious criminal activities. The Greiner–Murray ministry (1991–92) or Second Greiner–Murray ministry or Second Greiner ministry was the 81st ministry of the New South Wales Government, and was led by the 37th Premier of New South Wales, Nick Greiner, representing the Liberal Party in coalition with the National Party, led by Wal Murray. Unsworth Ministry
The Unsworth ministry was the 79th ministry of the New South Wales Government, and was led by the 36th Premier of New South Wales, Barrie Unsworth, representing the Labor Party. After the surprise announcement in June 1986 that Neville Wran would retire as Premier, NSW Labor Leader, and from Parliament with effect from 4 July 1986, Unsworth, then a Member of the New South Wales Legislative Council, was elected as the leader of the NSW Labor Party and thus became Premier.
