Mindi Abair
Mindi Abair (born May 23, 1969) is an American saxophonist, vocalist, author, and National Trustee for the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, the organization that puts on the Grammy Awards show. Her solo career has produced ten No. 1 radio singles, two No. 1 Billboard Jazz CDs, and four more solo CDs that have landed No. 5 and above on the '' Billboard'' Contemporary Jazz Charts. She was the featured saxophonist for the 2011 and 2012 seasons of ''American Idol'', and performed with the rock band Aerosmith. Abair's recordings have twice been nominated for Grammy Awards. Rogue Traders
Rogue Traders is an Australian electronic rock band formed in Melbourne, Victoria (Australia), Victoria in 2002 by mainstay James Ash on keyboards. In 1989, Ash met fellow original member Steve Davis in London while both were working as DJs. Before forming Rogue Traders, the pair had worked together on many projects, including the dance music act Union State, which relocated to Melbourne in 1992. The group's name comes from the 1999 drama film, ''Rogue Trader (film), Rogue Trader''. They were joined in 2004 by soap opera actress, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, on lead vocals, Cameron McGlinchey on drums and Tim Henwood on guitar. Davis continued as a behind-the-scenes member, contributing to the songwriting process but not making any public appearances with the group. Mirndi Languages
The Mirndi or Mindi languages are an Australian Aboriginal languages, Australian language family spoken in the Northern Territory of Australia. The family consists of two sub-groups, the Yirram languages and the West Barkly languages, Barkly languages some 200 km farther to the southeast, separated by the Ngumpin languages. The primary difference between the two sub-groups is that while the Yirram languages are all prefixing like other non-Pama–Nyungan languages, the West Barkly languages, Barkly languages are all suffixing like most Pama–Nyungan languages. The name of the family is derived from the Dual (grammatical number), dual clusivity, inclusive pronoun ('we', in the sense of 'you and I') which is shared by all the languages in the family in the form of either ''mind-'' or .
