Mikk Jürjens
Mikk Jürjens (born 27 January 1987) is an Estonian stage, television, film, and voice actor, singer, and television presenter whose career began in the mid-2000s. Early life and education Mikk Jürjens was born and raised in the town of Rapla in Rapla County. In 2006, he enrolled in the performing arts department of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in Tallinn to study acting under course supervisor Hendrik Toompere Jr., graduating in 2010. Among his graduating classmates were: Marta Laan, Liis Haab, Lauri Kaldoja, Liisa Pulk, Roland Laos, Hendrik Toompere Jr. Jr., Sandra Uusberg-Üksküla, and Kristjan Üksküla. Career Stage Following his graduation from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in 2010, he joined the Tallinn City Theatre the same year, where he is currently still engaged. Rapla
Rapla (German: ''Rappel'') is a town in central Estonia, the capital of Rapla County and the centre of Rapla Parish. The oldest records date back to 1241 in the Danish Census Book, when it was said that it was a small village with 8 acres of cultivated fields. By the end of the 13th century, the village centre was firmly established. At around the same time, a Cistercian monastery was built. Rapla's ambitious period of fast growth began only in the late 19th century. In 1866, a pharmacy was built, in 1868 a school, and in 1888 a hospital. In 1898, a Brick factory was opened, and in 1900, a railway line was built between Rapla and Viljandi. The old stone church was demolished in the late 19th century and a new one was built in a Romanesque style, one of the purest examples of this style in all of Estonia. Otfried Preußler (sometimes spelled as Otfried Preussler; both ; born Otfried Syrowatka; 20 October 1923 – 18 February 2013) was a German literature, German Children's literature, children's books author. Viire Valdma (born 29 August 1960) is an Estonian stage, television and film actress. Early life and education Viire Valdma was born in the port town of Paldiski in Harju County. She has two sisters and a half-sister from her mother's second marriage after her parents divorced. The family was forced to move when Paldiski became a heavily fortified closed city after a Soviet Navy nuclear submarine training centre was constructed in 1962. Valdma is a 1982 graduate of the Tallinn State Conservatory (now, the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre) in Tallinn, having studied acting under instructor Aarne Üksküla. Pääru Oja (born 16 May 1989) is an Estonian stage, film, voice, and television actor. Early life and education Pääru Oja was born in Tallinn, the youngest of two sons. His father is actor Tõnu Oja and his older brother is Estonian Theatre Festival CEO and theatre manager Kaarel Oja, who is married to actress Ursula Ratasepp. His uncle is actor, director and theatre instructor Rein Oja. He attended primary and secondary schools in Tallinn before being accepted to the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in Tallinn, where he graduated from in 2012 under course supervisor Elmo Nüganen. Viljandi
Viljandi (, german: Fellin, sv, Fellin) is a town and municipality in southern Estonia with a population of 17,407 in 2019. It is the capital of Viljandi County and is geographically located between two major Estonian cities, Pärnu and Tartu. Theatre NO99 was a theatre in Tallinn, Estonia that began to operate in February 2005. It was a state-owned repertoire theatre that has its own building with two theatre halls in central Tallinn. The theatre closed in 2019. The theatre's name was NO99, although it has no connection with classical No Theatre. NO is an abbreviation of the word “number” and 99 has decreased by one with each new production.
