Michael Angus O'Neill (born 1965) was a British diplomat. From 2014 until 2018, he was a United Nations Assistant Secretary-General and the Director of External Relations and Advocacy in the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), appointed by United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on 4 February 2014, replacing Sigrid Kaag. Prior to this, he served as Head of Mission at the Helmand Provincial Reconstruction Team in Afghanistan and as the United Kingdom's Special Representative for Sudan. Mike O'Neill is a three-time All-American lacrosse player for Johns Hopkins University. Career O'Neill was inducted into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 1993. O'Neill is third all time in Career Points at Hopkins. He was awarded the NCAA Player of the year in 1978, as well as the most outstanding player in the 1978 NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse Championship. Michael O'Neal (born January 16, 1951) is an American lawyer and Republican politician from Hutchinson, Kansas. He served as the Speaker of the Kansas House of Representatives from 2009 to 2013. Early life and education O'Neal was adopted as an infant by Ralph and Margaret O'Neal, a farm family from Manning, Kansas, near Scott City, Kansas. An only child, O'Neal lived on the farm until he was four. The Informed Medical Options Party, formerly known as the Involuntary Medication Objectors (Vaccination/Fluoride) Party, was an Australian political party. The party's policies opposed compulsory vaccination programs and water fluoridation. The Party states that these are "mass-medication programs" where there is "genuine scientific uncertainty about the benefits and risks in a genetically diverse population". Australian Medical Association president Tony Bartone said the party's views "lack the backing of scientific evidence" and that its members "should consider the harm that can ensue upon the Australian community". Michael Anthony O'Neill (born November 3, 1967) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender who played in the National Hockey League (NHL). Playing career O'Neill was born in LaSalle, Quebec. As a youth, he played in the 1979 and 1980 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournaments with a minor ice hockey team from LaSalle. O'Neill played four years at Yale University before spending the 1989–90 season with Tappara Tampere of the SM-liiga. He was drafted 15th overall by the Winnipeg Jets in the 1988 NHL Supplemental Draft while he was at Yale University. He joined the Jets' farm system when he returned to North America in 1990–91.
