Mike Flynn (editor)
Mike Flynn (October 19, 1967 – June 23, 2016) was an American online journalist who was known as the original editor of the Big Government website at Breitbart News. Early life Born and raised in Quincy, Illinois, Flynn was a sixth-generation native of central Illinois. He graduated from Quincy High School in 1985 and graduated from University of Iowa in 1989. From 1989 until 1992, Flynn was the general manager of the Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Keokuk, Iowa. Career According to the '' Quincy Herald-Whig'', Flynn self-described "as a strongly conservative libertarian," and he emphasized the U.S. national debt, reducing government regulations, and border security. Quincy ( ), known as Illinois's "Gem City", is a city in and the county seat of Adams County, Illinois, United States, located on the Mississippi River. The 2020 census counted a population of 39,463 in the city itself, down from 40,633 in 2010. As of July 1, 2015, the Quincy Micro Area had an estimated population of 77,220. WTAD carries a variety of local programming, as well as nationally syndicated shows such as Laura Ingraham, Mark Levin, and Coast to Coast AM. WAND
A wand is a thin, light-weight rod that is held with one hand, and is traditionally made of wood, but may also be made of other materials, such as metal or plastic. The 2016 Republican National Convention, in which delegates of the United States Republican Party chose the party's nominees for president and vice president in the 2016 U.S. presidential election, was held July 18–21, 2016, at Quicken Loans Arena (now Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse) in Cleveland, Ohio. The event marked the third time Cleveland has hosted the Republican National Convention and the first since 1936. In addition to determining the party's national ticket, the convention ratified the party platform. Darin McKay LaHood (; born July 5, 1968) is an American attorney and politician serving as the U.S. representative for Illinois's 18th congressional district since 2015. A member of the Republican Party, he was the member of the Illinois Senate from the seven-county 37th legislative district from 2011 to 2015. He was elected to Congress in a special election after Aaron Schock resigned.
