Michael Dalton (priest)
Michael Joseph Dalton, MBE, MC (May 5, 1902 – April 6, 2009) was a Canadian Roman Catholic military chaplain who was the most decorated RC Padre in history of Canada's military. Dalton was ordained to the priesthood on May 21, 1932. In 1939, at the outbreak of World War II, he volunteered to join the Essex Scottish Regiment of the Canadian Army and served the regiment in England, France, Belgium, The Netherlands and Germany. Although he could have avoided front line service due to his age and position, Dalton stated that he saw it as his duty to serve. Dalton was known to work on the front lines of military combat and often marched with his men, carrying their weapons when they grew fatigued. Dalton was known to drive his jeep, often against orders, to the front lines of combat in order to hear confessions. Michael Edward Dalton (born March 27, 1963) is a former pitcher for the Detroit Tigers in 1991. Dalton threw left-handed and batted right-handed. He was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 15th round of the 1983 amateur draft, after playing for De Anza College in Cupertino, California. After spending a few years in the minor leagues, on December 19, 1990, he signed as a free agent with the Tigers. The next season Dalton made his major league debut with Detroit on May 31, 1991, against the Cleveland Indians. He pitched 1.3 innings and gave up one hit. He went on to pitch in three more games that season, ending the year with 8 innings, 4 strikeouts, 2 walks, and a 3.38 ERA. Matthew Clement (born January 19, 1988) is a Canadian professional wrestler and professional wrestling trainer. He is currently signed to WWE under the ring name Tyler Breeze as a trainer at the WWE Performance Center. From 2010 to 2012, he performed under the name Mike Dalton in WWE's developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW). While in FCW, he won the FCW Florida Heavyweight Championship and the FCW Florida Tag Team Championship (with Leakee).
