Mike Costa
Mike Costa is an American comic book and television writer. His first published work was 2008's '' The Secret History of the Authority: Hawksmoor'' with artist Fiona Staples for WildStorm. He also wrote '' Resistance'', a comic book series based on the Resistance video games. Costa has written ''Transformers'' for IDW. Costa is currently writing IDW Publishing’s '' G.I. Comic Book
A comic book, also called comicbook, comic magazine or (in the United Kingdom and Ireland) simply comic, is a publication that consists of comics art in the form of sequential juxtaposed panels that represent individual scenes. Panels are often accompanied by descriptive prose and written narrative, usually, dialogue contained in word balloons emblematic of the comics art form. "Comic Cuts" was a British comic published from 1890 to 1953. It was preceded by "Ally Sloper's Half Holiday" (1884) which is notable for its use of sequential cartoons to unfold narrative. These British comics existed alongside of the popular lurid "Penny dreadfuls" (such as "Spring-heeled Jack"), boys' " Story papers" and the humorous Punch (magazine) which was the first to use the term "cartoon" in its modern sense of a humorous drawing. Chuck Dixon
Charles Dixon (born April 14, 1954) is an American comic book writer, best known for his work on the Marvel Comics character the Punisher and on the DC Comics characters Batman, Nightwing, and Robin in the 1990s and early 2000s. Early life Dixon was born in West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and grew up in Upper Darby, reading comics of all genres. He is a graduate of Upper Darby High School (1972). Career 1980s Chuck Dixon's earliest comics work was writing ''Evangeline'' for Comico Comics in 1984 and then for First Comics. Editor Larry Hama hired him to write back-up stories for Marvel Comics' '' Savage Sword of Conan''. Brendan John Cahill (born November 28, 1963) is an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. He has been serving as bishop of the Diocese of Victoria in Texas since 2015. Early life Brendan John Cahill was born on November 28, 1963, in Coral Gables, Florida. He attended St. Cecilia Catholic School and graduated from St. Thomas High School in Houston, Texas. He spent a year at Rice University before he entered St. Mary's Seminary/University of St. Thomas, both in Houston. Cahill earned a Bachelor of Psychology degree in 1985. Priesthood Cahill was ordained a priest by Archbishop Joseph Fiorenza for the Diocese of Galveston-Houston on May 19, 1990. That same year, he received a Master of Divinity degree from St. Thomas. Alex Milne is a Canadian comic book artist, best known for his work on various ''Transformers'' comic books. Career Graduating from Sheridan College, Milne debuted on the comics scene after being hired by Dreamwave Productions to pencil their '' Transformers: Energon'' series.
