Freestyle is a category of swimming competition, defined by the rules of the International Swimming Federation (FINA), in which competitors are subject to a few limited restrictions on their swimming stroke. Luís Miguel Rodrigues Monteiro (born 22 January 1983) is a Portuguese former swimmer, who specialized in freestyle events. He is a fourth-place finalist in the 200 m freestyle (1:52.33) at the 2001 European Junior Swimming Championships in Valletta, Malta.
