Miguel Afonso De Andrade Leite
Miguel Afonso de Andrade Leite (29 September 1912 – 30 September 1976), better known as "Padre Miguel do Cajuru", was a Brazilian Priesthood in the Catholic Church, Roman Catholic priest. He was the son of Francisco Afonso de Andrade Leite and Afonsina Batista de Carvalho. He celebrated his first sung Mass on February 22, 1938, in the rural district of São Miguel do Cajuru, near Madre de Deus de Minas. He was regarded as prodigious in good works. He died on September 30, 1976, the day after his 64th birthday, at the ''Santa Casa da Misericórdia'' of São João del-Rei. At the wake, the priest's fragile body almost stripped naked in the Funeral urn, urn, as the faithful tried to cut off his cassock and take home the little flaps, which turned into miraculous relics. Cimbres Marian apparition is a series of visions of the Virgin Mary that occurred in 1936 and 1937 in Northeastern Brazil, in the Pernambuco state municipality of Pesqueira, district of Cimbres. Context According to what is believed, the Virgin Mary would have appeared to two seers, Maria da Luz (who later adopted the name Adélia on the occasion of her entry into religious life) and Maria da Conceição, who, at the time of the facts, were poor and uneducated adolescents. The apparition happened in an exposed inselberg near the girl's family house, partially covered by thorny bushes and slippery moss, and next to deep gullies, a place dangerous to reach on foot.
