Nima Abu-Wardeh
Nima Abu-Wardeh (Arabic: نعمة أبو وردة; born June 1968) is a British keynote speaker, creator of online programmes, journalist, columnist and coach. Her talks focus on Equality and Bias, and the Financial Facts Females Find Out The Hard Way. Nima was named Ambassador for Women In Construction - the Big 5, and a judge for WomenTech Network. Early life and education Abu-Wardeh was born in Chorley, Lancashire and is of British-Palestinian and Irish heritage. She moved to Kuwait at the age of 7. Upon returning to England, Abu-Wardeh studied medical engineering at the University of Kent. She went on to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) in health service. ''World Business Report'' is a television business news programme produced by BBC News and shown on BBC World News, the BBC News Channel and BBC One on weekdays. There are two editions broadcast each weekday, at 0530 and 0630 GMT as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Each edition lasts 25 minutes. The main presenter of the programme is Sally Bundock and Victoria Valentine. Nancy Kacungira, Ben Thompson, Ben Boulos, Samantha Simmonds, Aaron Heslehurst and Alice Baxter act as relief presenters. This programme was launched on 2 February 2009 as a monthly half-hour programme presented by Komla Dumor. Following a hiatus on 1 August 2011, the programme was relaunched on 6 October 2013 and is now aired worldwide as a weekly 20-minute programme. The program aired its final episode on 25 May 2018.
