Midday (Irish TV Series)
''Midday'' was an Irish television talk show programme skewed towards female viewers. The Show ran from 2008 to 2016. It was replaced by Elaine Crowley in 2017. Development Midday first aired on TV3 on 1 October 2008. Today, the show is skewed towards a female audience where a panellists and the main anchor tackle the hot topics and trends of the day with live feedback from viewers. The first season run of the show was hosted by Colette Fitzpatrick, Martin King and Alan Cantwell who were joined by different panellist each show. By 2009 it was decided due to its popularity with female audiences it was later decided to replace the two male anchors with an all female panellist. In 2010, Collete Fitzpatrick decided to focus on her work at TV3 News where Elaine Crowley took over as the main presenter, and four other women who make up the panelist. Virgin Media One, also called Virgin One, is an Irish free-to-air television channel owned by Virgin Media Ireland (part of Liberty Global), operated through its subsidiary Virgin Media Television. The channel was known until 30 August 2018 as TV3 (and until 2006 as TV Three, launched on 20 September 1998), becoming Ireland's first commercial television channel. ''The Morning Show with Sybil & Martin'' was a morning magazine show that aired on TV3 (Ireland). It launched on 11 May 2009 as part of a major overhaul of daytime programming on the channel. The programme aired live at 11:00 on weekdays, and was hosted by Sybil Mulcahy and Martin King. It focused on a variety of topical issues, such as healthcare, current affairs, entertainment, and real life stories. Television in the Republic of Ireland is available through a variety of platforms. The digital terrestrial television service is known as Saorview and is the primary source of broadcast television since analogue transmissions ended on 24 October 2012. ''Xposé'' is an entertainment, fashion and beauty programme that aired on Irish television from 2007 to 2019. It was broadcast every Friday at 18:00 on Virgin Media One. It ran for a 3-day week at 20:00 on Virgin Media Two (previously known as "3e"). It originally aired weekdays for 30 minutes, with advertising; later it broadcast for 60 minutes, with advertising.
