Mickey's Magical Party
Mickey's Magical Party was a yearlong celebration during 2009 at Disneyland Paris. Information The celebration began on 4 April 2009. For the celebration new attractions and entertainment were brought to Disneyland Paris. Mickey's Magical Party ended in March 2010 and was replaced by Disney's New Generation Festival. It is a year-long event that is in celebration of Mickey Mouse's 80th anniversary that will feature new and old characters. Disneyland Paris is an entertainment resort in Chessy, France, east of Paris. It encompasses two theme parks, resort hotels, Disney Nature Resorts, a shopping, dining and entertainment complex, and a golf course. Disneyland Park is the original theme park of the complex, opening in 1992. A second theme park, Walt Disney Studios Park, opened in 2002. Walt Disney Studios Park ( French: ''Parc Walt Disney Studios'') is the second of two theme parks built at Disneyland Paris in Marne-la-Vallée, France, which opened on 16 March 2002. It is owned and operated by The Walt Disney Company through its Parks, Experiences and Products division. Upon opening, it was dedicated to show business, movie themes, production, and behind-the-scenes, but in the 2010s, in a similar manner to its sister park, Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World in Florida, it began to distance itself from the original studio backlot theming and entered a new direction of attraction development inspired by iconic Disney stories.
