Thomas Michael Quinn, F.S.C. (August 9, 1922 – March 15, 2009) was an American Roman Catholic Lasallian Brothers and psychology professor. Quinn served as the 25th President of Saint Mary's College of California Saint Mary's College of California is a Private college, private Catholic Church, Catholic college in Moraga, California. Established in 1863, it is affiliated with the Catholic Church and administered by the De La Salle Brothers. The college of ..., which was also his alma mater, from 1962 until 1969. Quinn was a 1947 graduate of the college. Quinn died on March 15, 2009, at the age of 86. He was buried at Mont La Salle in Napa, California. Michael Quinn Patton (born 1945) is an independent organizational development and program evaluation consultant, and former president of the American Evaluation Association. He is the founder and director of Utilization-Focused Evaluation. After receiving his doctorate in sociology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, he spent 18 years on the faculty of the University of Minnesota (1973–1991), including five years as Director of the Minnesota Center for Social Research and ten years with the Minnesota Extension Service. Patton has written many books on the art and science of program evaluation, including ''Utilization-Focused Evaluation'' (4th ed., 2008), in which he emphasizes the importance of designing evaluations to ensure their usefulness, rather than simply creating long reports that may never get read or never result in any practical changes. Mick Quinn
Mick Quinn (born 17 December 1969) is an English musician and singer-songwriter. He is best known as founding member of English rock band Supergrass. He is a permanent member of fellow Oxford band Swervedriver. Career 1984–1993 Mick Quinn started playing bass at the age of 14. A year later moving to guitar. He played with The Asylum in 1986, a band featuring Kid Wig, guitarist with the Beat Seeking Missiles, in and around Oxford including the Port Meadow Festival. In the late 1980s he became interested in record production, renting and borrowing equipment to experiment with at home. Mike Quinn (born 1964) is an English puppeteer, animator, actor, director, producer, voice-over artist, puppet builder, composer and mentor. He is also known as Mike Quinby, Michael E. Quinn, and Michael Quinn. Early life and career Quinn was born in Kent, England, and grew up in Enfield, Middlesex. He began puppeteering at age eight. In 1977, Mike regularly visited the set of ''The Muppet Show'' with his homemade puppets, eventually meeting Jim Henson. Through his visits, he learned more about puppeteering and received encouragement from Jim Henson and his co-workers. After leaving school in 1980, Quinn joined The Jim Henson Company and worked on the 1981 film ''The Great Muppet Caper'' puppeteering in crowd scenes and acting as a double for various main Muppet characters. Michael Quinn (born 26 January 1990) is a Gaelic footballer for the Killoe Young Emmets club and the Longford county team. He is also a former professional Australian rules footballer with Essendon Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Quinn is notable as holding the record for the quickest conversion of a former GAA player to play in the AFL, taking the record from Martin Clarke and having made his AFL debut just weeks after arriving in Australia. Early life Quinn went to primary school in Scoil Mhuire, Newtownforbes. He grew up in Killoe, County Longford. Michael Mike Quinn is an Australian Paralympic athletics, swimming and snooker competitor. In 1972, at the age of 19, a car accident left him a quadriplegic. Before the accident, he played in the Brisbane schoolboy rugby union team and was junior belt champion for the Bribie Island Surf Life Saving Club. While he was in hospital, Roy Fowler, an Australian Paralympian was in the bed next to him having his kidney removed. Fowler encouraged him to stay involved in sport. Nine months after the accident, he was competing in wheelchair sports events. He competed at the 1984 Stoke Mandeville Games in athletics and swimming. He won a silver medal in the athletics Men's 4 × 200 m 1A-1C and bronze medals in athletics Men's 4 × 100 m Relay 1A-1C, Men's Slalom IB, and swimming Men's 3 x 25m Freestyle Relay 1A-1C. Michael Anthony Mary Quinn (31 May 1952) is a former rugby union footballer who played international rugby as a fly-half for Ireland. He played schools rugby for Newbridge College and captained them to victory in the 1970 Schools Cup Final over Blackrock College RFC. Michael Quinn (born 2 May 1962) is an English former professional footballer and sports radio presenter for TalkSPORT. As a player he was a centre forward from 1979 until 1996.
