Michael O'Halloran (Cork Hurler)
Michael O'Halloran (born 1997) is an Irish hurler who plays as a left corner-forward for club side Blackrock and at inter-county level with the Cork senior hurling team. Playing career University College Cork On 23 February 2019, O'Halloran lined out as a substitute for University College Cork when they faced Mary Immaculate College in the Fitzgibbon Cup final. He remained on the bench for the entire game but collected a winners' medal following the 2–21 to 0–13 victory. O'Halloran was again named amongst the substitutes for a second successive Fitzgibbon Cup final on 12 February 2020. He was introduced as a 36th-minute substitute for Mark Kehoe and claimed a second successive winners' medal in the 0–18 to 2–11 defeat of the Institute of Technology, Carlow. Blackrock, County Cork
Blackrock is a suburb, with a village core, in the southeast of Cork City, Ireland. Originally a small fishing village about five kilometres from Cork City, the growth of the city over time has meant that the village has become incorporated into the city. It is home to Blackrock GAA club, Blackrock Castle, a weekly farmers market, and as of 2015 has seen some investment in regeneration projects for the traditional village centre. Blackrock is within the Cork South-Central Dáil constituency. Places of interest A short distance from the village is Blackrock Castle. Liam is a short form of the Irish name Uilliam or the old Germanic name William. The 2017 All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling Championship was the 54th staging of the All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1964. The championship began on 24 May 2017 and ended on 9 September 2017. Waterford entered the championship as the defending champions, however, they were defeated by Cork in the Munster semi-final. Tim O'Mahony
Timothy O'Mahony (born 13 January 1997) is an Irish hurler who plays as a centre-back for club side Newtownshandrum and at centre-forward at inter-county level with the Cork senior hurling team. Playing career College O'Mahony first came to prominence as a hurler with C.B.S. Charleville. Having played hurling in every grade during his time at the school, he usually lined out in the forwards on the senior team in the Harty Cup. The 2016 All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling Championship was the 53rd staging of the All-Ireland inter-county championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1964. The championship began on 25 May 2016 and ended on 10 September 2016. Limerick entered the championship as the defending champions. They were beaten by Tipperary in the Munster semi-final.
