Michael Lewis (basketball Coach)
Michael Lewis (born July 27, 1977) is an American college basketball coach and former player who is the head coach of the Ball State Cardinals men's team. He played in college for the Indiana Hoosiers. Playing career Lewis played basketball high school basketball at Jasper High School where he scored 2,138 career points, and was named Gatorade Player of the Year in 1996. In college, Lewis played at Indiana University Bloomington, where he was an all-Big Ten third team selection and ranks second all-time in Indiana history in assists playing for the Hoosiers under Bob Knight. The 2022–23 Ball State Cardinals men's basketball team represented Ball State University in the 2022–23 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Cardinals, led by first-year head coach Michael Lewis, played their home games at Worthen Arena in Muncie, IN as members of the Mid-American Conference. Timothy Sean Miles (born August 20, 1966) is an American college basketball coach who is the current head coach of the San Jose State Spartans men's basketball team. Miles previously served as the head coach of North Dakota State University, Colorado State University and the University of Nebraska. Miles is a graduate of the University of Mary. Chris Holtmann
Christopher Adam Holtmann (born November 11, 1971) is an American college basketball coach who is currently the head coach at Ohio State University. Holtmann grew up in Nicholasville, Kentucky, and started his college playing career in-state at Brescia College in Owensboro. After two seasons, he transferred to Taylor University, where he played for his final two seasons. In 1994, his senior year, he earned All-America honors and Taylor hit number one in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) rankings. Holtmann got his start in coaching as a graduate assistant at Taylor in 1997. The next year, he became an assistant coach at Geneva College, then returned to his alma mater as an assistant in 1999. Brandon Miller (born May 21, 1979) is an American basketball coach, who previously played college basketball at Southwest Missouri State and Butler. Miller served as Butler's head coach for one season in 2013–14 before requesting a medical leave of absence in October 2014. On January 2, 2015, Butler University announced that Miller would not be returning following his university-approved medical leave and that interim coach Chris Holtmann had been named the Bulldogs head coach. Born in New Castle, Indiana, Miller played point guard for New Castle Chrysler High School before beginning his college career at Southwest Missouri State. Brad Stevens
Bradley Kent Stevens (born October 22, 1976) is an American basketball executive and former coach who is currently the president of basketball operations for the Boston Celtics. Born and raised in Zionsville, Indiana, Stevens starred on the Zionsville Community High School basketball team, setting four school records. After high school, he attended DePauw University, where he played basketball and earned a degree in economics. Stevens made the all-conference team multiple times and was a three-time Academic All-America nominee. He transitioned into coaching after quitting his job at Eli Lilly and Company, joining the basketball program at Butler University as a volunteer prior to the 2000–01 season.
