Michael John Kennedy (born 10 January 1964) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for Carlton in the VFL The Victorian Football League (VFL) is an Australian rules football league in Australia serving as one of the second-tier regional semi-professional competitions which sit underneath the fully professional Australian Football League (AFL). He coached VFA club Dandenong in 1992 and 1993 before moving to Box Hill Football Club to play his final season in 1994, returning again as an assistant coach in 1996. Australian football, also called Australian rules football or Aussie rules, or more simply football or footy, is a contact sport played between two teams of 18 players on an oval field, often a modified cricket ground. Dandenong Football Club was an Australian rules football club which played in the Victorian Football Association (VFA). Based in the Melbourne suburb of Dandenong, the Redlegs wore navy blue and red as their club colours. Club history From 1953 to 1957 the club played in the Federal Football League.
