Michael Tyrone Ellis (born 13 October 1967) is a British politician and barrister who served as Attorney General for England and Wales between September to October 2022, having previously served in the position in an acting capacity from March to September 2021. A member of the Conservative Party, he previously served as Paymaster General from 2021 to 2022 and as Minister for the Cabinet Office from February to September 2022. Ellis has also served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Northampton North since 2010. Ellis served in the May Government as Deputy Leader of the House of Commons from 2016 to 2018, as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Arts, Heritage and Tourism from 2018 to 2019, and as Minister of State for Transport from May to July 2019. Mike Ellis (born 27 July 1958) is an Australian former basketball player who captained the Perth Wildcats of the National Basketball League (NBL) for the club's first 11 seasons, and helped guide them to two championships in 1990 and 1991. Ellis' No. 6 jersey was retired by both the Wildcats and his junior association, the Warwick Senators. Career Perth Wildcats Ellis played his entire NBL career with the Perth Wildcats, beginning with the club in their inaugural season in 1982 and captained the side every year until his final season in 1992. He helped the team win championships in 1990 and 1991. In 302 career games, Ellis averaged 12.6 points, 2.2 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.6 steals per game. Michael James Ellis (born 29 September 1946) is a retired South African politician and educator, who served as Deputy Chief Whip of the opposition Democratic Alliance in 1999-2011, and as the party's provincial leader in KwaZulu-Natal between 2006 and 2009. Ellis is one of the party's longest serving Parliamentarians, having first entered parliament as a candidate of the pro-Democracy Progressive Federal Party in 1987. Prior to that he was President of the Natal Teachers' Society, and served as headmaster and deputy headmaster at several KwaZulu-Natal schools. Channel Awesome, Inc. is an American online media production company based in Lombard, Illinois. The company was created in 2008 by Mike Michaud, Mike Ellis, and Bhargav Dronamraju. Channel Awesome operated the ''That Guy with the Glasses'' website (often abbreviated ''TGWTG'') until late 2014, when it was phased into the ''Channel Awesome'' website. The site is best known for the comedic film review series ''Nostalgia Critic'', starring Doug Walker. ''That Guy with the Glasses'' previously hosted fellow channels by ''Bar Fiesta'', beginning in November 2009, and ''Blistered Thumbs'', beginning in November 2010. Michael G. Ellis (February 21, 1941July 20, 2018) was an American Republican politician. He served 44 years in the Wisconsin Legislature, including 12 years in the Wisconsin State Assembly (1971–1983) and 32 years in the Wisconsin State Senate (1983–2015), and was President of the Wisconsin Senate for the 101st Wisconsin Legislature and most of the 100th. Biography Ellis, a native of Neenah, Wisconsin, attended Neenah High School and earned a B.S. in secondary education at the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh (1965). Michael Ellis (8 September 1652 – 16 November 1726) was an English Benedictine monk who was a prelate of the Catholic Church. He served as the first Vicar Apostolic of the Western District of England and Wales, and subsequently Bishop of Segni in Italy.
