Michael Dickson (American Football)
Michael Dickson (born 4 January 1996) is an Australian professional American football punter for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Texas. Regarded as one of the best punters in the league, his career punt average of 47.6 yards per punt ranks as the highest in NFL history. Early life Born in Sydney, Dickson first played soccer in his youth before switching to Australian rules football at the age of 9. In his first year of playing Australian rules football, he earned the Golden Boot award for having the best kicking. He excelled in Australian football while playing for the University of New South Wales- Eastern Suburbs Bulldogs in the local Sydney AFL competition and was subsequently placed in the Sydney Swans talent academy as a teenager. Michael Dickson Order of the British Empire, CBE FREng FIStructE Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, FICE (1944 – 2018) was a structural engineer and a founding partner of Buro Happold. He was a Visiting Professor of Engineering Design at the University of Bath Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering. He studied mechanical sciences (the precursor of engineering) at Cambridge University followed by structural engineering and town planning at Cornell University in the United States. In 2007 he was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Engineering from the University of Bath. Michael Dickson (born 11 October 1977) is a British-Israeli writer and public speaker. He serves as executive director of the StandWithUs Israel office in Jerusalem. Michael Dickson (born January 29, 1994) is an American professional track and field sprint hurdler who specializes in the 110 metres hurdles. While in college he competed for the North Carolina A&T Aggies where he was a two-Time All-American and 8 Time MEAC champion. Biography Early life Raised in Beaufort, South Carolina, Dickson attended Beaufort High School where he was a 3 time South Carolina 3A state champion; winning the 110 meter hurdles twice and a 1-time champion in the 200 meters. Amateur career In his freshman year at North Carolina A&T, Dickson won his first MEAC championship in the indoor 60-meter hurdles with a time of 7.85.
