Riccardo Freda
Riccardo Freda (24 February 1909 – 20 December 1999) was an Italian film director. He worked in a variety of genres, including sword-and-sandal, horror film, horror, ''giallo'' and spy films. Freda began directing ''I Vampiri'' in 1956. The film became the first Italian sound film, sound horror film production. Biography Riccardo Freda was born in 1909 in Alexandria, Egypt to Italian parents. Freda attended school in Milan where he took art classes at the Centro Sperimantale. After school he took on work as a sculptor and art critic. Film career Freda first began working in the film industry in 1937 and directed his first film ''Don Cesare di Bazan'' in 1942. Freda began directing ''I Vampiri''. Guido Lollobrigida
Guido Lollobrigida (1927–2013) was an Italian actor and race car driver, usually credited in movies as Lee Barton or Lee Burton. He was a cousin of actress Gina Lollobrigida. Life and career Born in Rome, after graduating as a technical engineer Lollobrigida moved to South America, where in 1957 he made his acting debut in a film which was never distributed. Silvia Solar (20 March 19369 May 2011) was a French actress and prolific minor star in Spanish cinema. The majority of her appearances were in the 1960s and 1970s. Early life Solar was born Geneviève Couzain in Paris. Career Couzain won the title of "Miss France" at age 16. Shortly thereafter producer and director Henri Diamant-Berger cast Solar in her first film role. Her career spanned from the late 1950s through the early 1990s, starring in dozens of comedies, romances, drama, crime and spy thrillers as well as horror films. Francis Coplan (Agent FX 18) is a fictional French secret agent created by Paul Kenny, the nom de plume of Belgian authors Gaston Van den Panhuyse (1913-1995) and Jean Libert (1913-1981). He first appeared in print in 1953, and has since appeared in over 200 novels. He appeared in six Eurospy films released in the 1950s and 1960s (in each one played by a different actor), as well as a 1989 French miniseries and a long-running comic strip.
