Metro TV (Indonesian TV Network)
Metro TV is an Indonesian free-to-air television news network based in West Jakarta. It was established on 25 November 2000 and now has over 52 relay stations all over the country. It is owned by Surya Paloh who also owns the ''Media Indonesia'' daily. These two, along with other newspapers distributed in different parts of Indonesia, are part of the Media Group. It is the only TV network to offer Mandarin-language news programs in Indonesia and no soap opera, although recently it has also begun to broadcast entertainment and multicultural programs such as the now-defunct tech show ''e-Lifestyle'', the satirical news and current affairs show ''Republik Mimpi'' (The Dream Republic), musical programming such as ''Musik+'' and ''Idenesia'', and other special or regional programming. ''Media Indonesia'' is an Indonesian daily newspaper published in Jakarta. Reports say ''Media Indonesia'' is the second largest newspaper in Indonesia after the ''Kompas'' daily. Vidio is an Indonesia-based over-the-top video streaming service established on 15 October 2014. Originally owned by Kreatif Media Karya, it is now owned by Surya Citra Media, both of which is a subsidiary of Elang Mahkota Teknologi (Emtek). The service's content consists of free-to-air and subscription channels, live streaming, films and dramas, and television. It is one of the largest streaming platforms in Southeast Asia. IndiHome
IndiHome (abbreviated from Indonesia Digital Home) is a home telephone, internet, and Internet Protocol television services owned by Telkom Indonesia. IndiHome was launched on 2015 to replace Speedy (Telkom), Speedy. Its packages also come with digital music portal services and Home automation, Home Automation. IndiHome services can only be applied to homes in which there are fiber-optic networks available from Telkom (FTTH) and areas that still use copper cables. Telkom claims that IndiHome products have had up to 2,000 units ordered each day throughout 2015.
