Jaya Maswood (born 1 July), commonly known as Jaya Ahsan, is a Bangladeshi actress and producer. Starting her career as a model and, later, as a television actress, she currently works mostly in Bangladeshi and Indian Bengali films. Munmun Ahmed is a Bangladeshi film and television actress and dancer. She specializes in kathak dancing. Besides, she is a regular performer in radio plays for Bangladesh Betar. Career Ahmed was born on 27 December 1966. Her first instructor was Azhar Khan at Azimpur Ladies Club. She started taking kathak lessons from Syed Abul Kalam in 1978. After completing her high school exams in 1987 she went to India. There she studied at the Ram Bharatia Kala Kendra under Ram Mohan Maharaj and Raj Kumar Sharma. Humayun Ahmed (; 13 November 1948 – 19 July 2012) was a Bangladeshi novelist, dramatist, screenwriter, filmmaker, songwriter, scholar, and professor. His breakthrough was his debut novel ''Nondito Noroke'' published in 1972. He wrote over 200 fiction and non-fiction books, many of which were bestsellers in Bangladesh. His books were the top sellers at the Ekushey Book Fair during the 1990s and 2000s.
