Merewalesi Rokouono
Merewalesi Rokouono (born 15 September 1994) is a Fijian rugby league, rugby union and sevens player. She competed for both Fiji in the 2021 Rugby League World Cup at rugby league and for Fiji in rugby union at the 2021 Rugby World Cup. She signed with the North Queensland Cowboys for the 2023 NRL Women's season. Playing career Rugby union Rokouono made her international debut for the Fiji XV's against Papua New Guinea at the 2016 Oceania Championship. A month later, she appeared for the Fijiana again at the 2017 World Cup Repechage tournament against Japan and Hong Kong. Rokouono also represented Fiji in sevens rugby and featured in the 2018–19 Women's Sevens Series. She played in the Dubai Sevens as the Fijiana finished in twelfth place. Nadi
Nadi (pronounced ) is the third-largest conurbation in Fiji. It is located on the western side of the main island of Viti Levu, and had a population of 42,284 at the most recent census, in 2007. A 2012 estimate showed that the population had grown to over 50,000. Nadi is multiracial with many of its inhabitants Asians, Indian or Indigenous Fijians, along with a large transient population of foreign tourists. Japan Women's National Rugby Union Team
The Japan women's national rugby union team (, nicknamed Sakura Fifteen) are a national sporting side of Japan, representing them at rugby union. The side first played in 1991. History Japan made their international debut at the 1991 Women's Rugby World Cup. Since then, Japan has appeared at three other editions of the World Cup in 1994, 2002 and 2017. The team has won the Asia Rugby Women's Championship in 2015, 2016 and 2017. Brumbies
The ACT Brumbies (known from 2005–2022 as simply the Brumbies) is an Australian professional rugby union team based in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory (ACT), The team competes in Super Rugby and named for the brumby, feral horses which inhabit the capital's hinterland. The Western Force is an Australian professional rugby union team based in Perth, Western Australia, currently competing in Super Rugby Pacific. They previously played in Super Rugby from 2006 until they were axed from the competition in 2017. Following their axing they played in the National Rugby Championship in 2018 and 2019, replacing the Perth Spirit, and Global Rapid Rugby from 2018 to 2020, an Indo-Pacific competition organised by Andrew Forrest. Queensland Reds
The Queensland Reds is the rugby union team for the Australian state of Queensland that competes in the Southern Hemisphere's Super Rugby competition. Prior to 1996, they were a representative team selected from the rugby union club competitions in Queensland. The Melbourne Rebels is an Australian professional rugby union team based in Melbourne. They made their debut in SANZAR's Super Rugby tournament in 2011. 2022 Super W Season
The 2022 Super W season was the fifth edition of the Super W competition. The Fijiana Drua joined the five Super W teams for the 2022 season, and won the championship. The New South Wales Waratahs#Women's team, New South Wales Waratahs were the four-time, back-to-back defending champions. The World Rugby Women's Sevens Series, is a series of international rugby sevens tournaments for women's national teams run by World Rugby.
