Mehr Davon
"Mehr davon" (''More of it'') is a song by Die Toten Hosen. It is the seventh track on the album '' Ein kleines bisschen Horrorschau''. It was also released as a promo single "We Love You / Mehr davon" in 1992 with a cover of the Rolling Stones. It is about wanting more money, reputation, speed, hate, sex and power. Initially it was not released as a single from the album, but it became popular and this is probably the reason behind the 1992 promo single. A "Dreadlock-Mix" was released on '' Auf dem Kreuzzug ins Glück''. An English version, titled "More & More", is available on ''Love, Peace & Money''. Die Toten Hosen
Die Toten Hosen (literally "The Dead Trousers", figuratively "The Deadbeats") is a German punk rock band from Düsseldorf. History The current members of Die Toten Hosen are Campino (Andreas Frege), Kuddel (Andreas von Holst), Vom (Stephen Ritchie), Andi (Andreas Meurer) and Breiti (Michael Breitkopf). All members except one are German, though Campino's mother, Jenny, was English. The drummer Vom comes from England. He joined in 1999, after previous drummer Wölli sustained injuries in a car crash. Wölli had played from 1985 to 1999 and was an honorary member of the band until his death in 2016. The drummer until 1985 was Trini Trimpop, who became the band's manager when Wölli joined. The band is reputed to have played for free at private birthday parties or similar events in their early years, so long as the host provided them with unlimited beer and covered all damage caused by the band. 1982–1987 Die Toten Hosen formed in 1982 at the Ratinger Hof, a Düsseldorf b ...

Songs Written By Campino (singer)
A song is a musical composition intended to be performed by the human voice. This is often done at distinct and fixed pitches (melodies) using patterns of sound and silence. Songs contain various forms, such as those including the repetition and variation of sections. Written words created specifically for music, or for which music is specifically created, are called lyrics. If a pre-existing poem is set to composed music in classical music it is an art song. Songs that are sung on repeated pitches without distinct contours and patterns that rise and fall are called chants. Songs composed in a simple style that are learned informally "by ear" are often referred to as folk songs. Songs that are composed for professional singers who sell their recordings or live shows to the mass market are called popular songs. These songs, which have broad appeal, are often composed by professional songwriters, composers, and lyricists. Art songs are composed by trained classical compo ...

The Rolling Stones
The Rolling Stones are an English rock band formed in London in 1962. Active for six decades, they are one of the most popular and enduring bands of the rock era. In the early 1960s, the Rolling Stones pioneered the gritty, rhythmically driven sound that came to define hard rock. Their first stable line-up consisted of vocalist Mick Jagger, multi-instrumentalist Brian Jones, guitarist Keith Richards, bassist Bill Wyman, and drummer Charlie Watts. During their formative years, Jones was the primary leader: he assembled the band, named it, and drove their sound and image. After Andrew Loog Oldham became the group's manager in 1963, he encouraged them to write their own songs. Jagger and Richards became the primary creative force behind the band, alienating Jones, who had developed a drug addiction that interfered with his ability to contribute meaningfully. Rooted in blues and early rock and roll, the Rolling Stones started out playing covers and were at the forefront ...

We Love You
"We Love You" is a song by the English rock band the Rolling Stones that was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. It was first released as a single on 18 August 1967, with "Dandelion" as the B-side. The song peaked at number eight in Britain and number 50 in the United States, where "Dandelion" was promoted as the A-side and peaked at number 14. Written as a message of gratitude to their fans for the public support towards them during the drug arrests of Jagger and Richards, the recording features backing vocals by John Lennon and Paul McCartney of the Beatles. It is considered one of the Rolling Stones' most experimental songs, featuring sound effects, layers of vocal overdubs, and a prominent Mellotron part played by Brian Jones. The single's two tracks were the final Stones recordings receiving a production credit for band manager Andrew Loog Oldham. The recording session represented Oldham's last work with the band before resigning as their producer. Contemporary c ...

Love, Peace & Money
''Love, Peace & Money'' (also ''Love Peace & Money''; Japanese 愛、平和、そして金) is the first English-language album by the German punk band Die Toten Hosen (ディ・トーテン・ホーゼン di tōten hōzen"in katakana; DTH), not counting the cover album ''Learning English, Lesson One''. It was intended for the Japanese market. Most of the songs are just English versions of other DTH songs. For the cover, the idea of ''Reich & sexy'' was copied. However, the band was unable to find enough Japanese women willing to undress for the cover, so some of the women are just made to look Japanese. The reason behind the album was that since the band was also famous outside German language, German speaking countries, they wanted everybody to understand what they have to say. They were especially inspired by Argentinian fans, of whom some have started learning German just to understand DTH's lyrics. Track listing # アレックスの帰還 " The Return of Alex" (Meurer/Freg ...

English Language
English is a West Germanic language of the Indo-European language family, with its earliest forms spoken by the inhabitants of early medieval England. It is named after the Angles, one of the ancient Germanic peoples that migrated to the island of Great Britain. Existing on a dialect continuum with Scots, and then closest related to the Low Saxon and Frisian languages, English is genealogically West Germanic. However, its vocabulary is also distinctively influenced by dialects of France (about 29% of Modern English words) and Latin (also about 29%), plus some grammar and a small amount of core vocabulary influenced by Old Norse (a North Germanic language). Speakers of English are called Anglophones. The earliest forms of English, collectively known as Old English, evolved from a group of West Germanic (Ingvaeonic) dialects brought to Great Britain by Anglo-Saxon settlers in the 5th century and further mutated by Norse-speaking Viking settlers starting in the 8th and 9th ...

Ein Kleines Bisschen Horrorschau
''Ein kleines bisschen Horrorschau'' ("A little bit of horrorshow") (subtitled: ''Die Lieder aus Clockwork Orange und andere schmutzige Melodien'' The songs from Clockwork Orange and other dirty melodies" is the sixth LP by Die Toten Hosen, released in 1988. This is considered by the band as the best DTH album as of 1988. The LP is mainly a concept album based on the film ''A Clockwork Orange'' by Stanley Kubrick, which in turn is based on the book of the same name by Anthony Burgess, although not all of the songs are about the main theme. The idea of the LP has its origin during a performance of ''A Clockwork Orange'' at Theater Bonn where the band acted as supernumeraries and as supporting band. Songs 1, 4, 5, 8, 10, 12 are from the play and these are the ones recorded in Schauspielhaus Bonn, other songs were recorded in Berlin and Cologne. The songs are linked together by snippets of Beethoven's 9th Symphony (played by a symphony orchestra), whose music plays a prominent rol ...
